The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired it’s finale episode of the 7th season last night (April 19, 2015).

This week, the episode was titled ‘Atlanta Twirls On’ wraps everyone’s life up in a pretty little bow as the ladies all move forward after another drama filled season.

Bravo Synopsis:

Kandi makes a surprise announcement that startles not only her daughter, Riley, but Mama Joyce as well.

As Peter and Cynthia say goodbye to Bar One, they receive a shocking phone call from Apollo in prison.

NeNe rushes through final preparations for her debut in Cinderella on Broadway, and Kenya invites everyone to a screening event of her new pilot Life Twirls On.

Life Lesson #1 – Fairy tales really do come true…

After a dramatic exit last week from Phaedra’s event last week, Nene starts off the finale episode with a fresh start on broadway in NYC.

Nene shares an intimate moment with her husband Gregg and her son Brentt, as they all stand on the broadway stage reminiscing about all the hard work it took to get there.

Then it hits her… Nene is a real life ‘Cinderella’ story. She went from relative obscurity to making a name for herself on a reality show. Now millions know her name and she’s living her dream.

Can’t hate on that.

Life Lesson #2 – Life Twirls On…

Kenya Moore is trying her best to improve all the damage she’s done to her ‘real life’ reputation by attempting to convince viewers that she’s serious about her new production.

While there’s been quite a bit of offscreen drama surrounding ‘Life Twirls On’ (click HERE if you missed that), it seems that Kenya has finally completed the task of producing her sizzle reel and she wants to show it off to her friends.

It’ll be interesting to see if the show ever actually gets picked up by a network. Stay tuned.

Life Lesson #3 – Mind your own buisness(es)…

Peter and Cynthia say goodbye to their Atlanta Bar One location and reminisce over all of the good times they’ve had over the years at the location.

While we hoped to see some evidence of progress on the new Atlanta location during the finale, Peter deflects and surprises Cynthia (who’s now his new business partner), with news of his coffee shop opening.

Chile I guess…. for the record, Peter posted a computer generated image of how Bar One Atlanta will look whenever they re-open along with a response to that ‘Bar None’ image above, stating:

[Sidebar: I’m not going way to Charlotte when Bar One was right around the corner.? Get it together Mr. Thomas!!? But I digress…]

During their visit to the Peter’s Coffee shop, Apollo calls Peter from prison.? The friends share pleasantries and Apollo shares that he still hasn’t seen his kids.

Peter feigns concern and then inquires if Apollo is aware that Phaedra has filed for divorce (which she clearly hasn’t).

For once, Cynthia seems upset that Peter is being so messy, but it’s a bit too little to late. Hell… the season is over now.

In her confessional, Cynthia admits that she’s being dragged into the drama by her hubby yet again, stating ‘the last time Apollo’s name came up, I ended up in a big chocolate mess!’

Now Bailey claims that she’s staying out of it for good this time.

Life Lesson #4 – When all else fails, bake cookies…

While Apollo is sharing his outrage with Peter Thomas about not seeking his children, Phaedra is on the other side of town baking cookies with the kids.

Parks shares that she hasn’t payed a visit to her incarcerated husband because a trip to Kentucky isn’t ‘a hop, skip, and a jump’ away from Atlanta and that arrangements have to be made for infant visits.

He’s at a place where they don’t even have a nursery for a one year old. If I have to change a diaper, I have to leave.

If Ayden has to use the bathroom… the visit ends. Cause you can’t come back in after you leave out. There’s one entry.

On a lighter note, Phaedra and the boys appeared happy and healthy and it seems they are adjusting to the tough situation as best they can.

Life Lesson #5 – Family matters matter.

Kandi and Todd finally pay a visit to the home Kandi bought for Mama Joyce.

It’s a family affair as Mama Joyce invites all of the family over to share in her good fortune.? While she still seems a bit standoffish towards Kandi’s hubby, Mama Joyce seems to be making an effort to increase the peace between them.

During dinner, Mama Joyce offers up an apology to Todd about the things she’d said about his mother prior to her untimely demise.

It’s unfortunate that a death had to happen for the family to unite, but at least the Tucker’s are on the right path.

What’s next for the ‘housewives?

As usual, the end of the RHOA finale gave us a peek into what the ‘wives’ are doing now and the producers managed to throw quite a bit of shade.

Claudia Jordan

Claudia is considering a tour of open mic nights to hone her comedy chops. No word on whether she plans to go under the knife to lose the Hammertime label for good.

Phaedra Parks

Phaedra is adjusting to life as a single working mom.

This Southern Belle is keeping secrets about her divorce? or any plans to visit Apollo in prison.

No secret there… they aren’t getting divorced. Phaedra said it last week on WWHL and Apollo said it in his first jailhouse interview (click HERE if you missed that).

Cynthia Bailey

Cynthia and Peter are still renovating the new location for Bar One.

NeNe Leakes

NeNe?s Cinderella carriage won’t be turning into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight. She and Prince Gregg are riding off to their new $2.1 million Atlanta palace, and she?s auditioning for several pilots? ?Life Twirls On? isn?t one of them.

Kandi Burruss

Kandi and Todd celebrated their one-year anniversary.

Instead of continuing therapy, they’re beginning fertility treatments to grow their Burruss-Tucker clan.

Plans to relocate to LA are on hold.

We’ll see more of Kandi and her family drama immediately following the reunion once her ‘Ski Trip’ spin-off airs.

Kenya?s Life Twirled On to Millionaire Matchmaker, where she?s found new love.

She is currently shopping her pilot with the hope of turning it into a TV series? hair commercial not included.

FYI… There was no update at the end of the finale for ‘Friends of the show’ Porsha and Demetria. But at least we’ll see Porsha on the reunion show.
