During an initial search conducted at the home, authorities said “There were no drugs out in the open,? but a 2nd more detailed search reportedly uncovered an assortment of substances that may have contributed to Bobbi Kristina’s?collapse.
Details below…
While there are no reports of exactly what was found in the home, TMZ is reporting that family members confirmed that authorities seized several items during a 2nd search of the home.
Nick Gordon reportedly refused to consent to the first search and authorities were forced to obtain a search warrant.
Police in Roswell, Ga., have declined to confirm?whether illegal substances were found in the home, however the other person in the home at the time Brown was discovered face-down in the tub has now been identified and his past is a bit sketchy.
Maxwell Lomas (pictured in the mugshot) is the previously unidentified ‘male friend’ who called 911 and coincidentally, he was arrested on drug distribution charges last month.
The DailyMail?reports that Lomas, 24 and Bobby Kristina?s husband, Nick Gordon have been friends for the past two years and his 18-year-old girlfriend Danyela Bradley had also become a close friend of Bobbi Kristina.
The ‘friendship’ is now the topic of discussion online and off, as many speculate what part (if any) Lomas had to do with Bobbi Kristina’s suspected overdose.
The mere fact that Lomas has a drug history, detailed arrest record and was present at the time BobbiKris?was found unresponsive, has created a buzz about how drugs may have been a factor.
Was Lomas her dealer? Was Nick a dealer? What the hell was going on in that townhouse in the hours after she posed for THIS SELFIE?
For the record, Lomas’ most recent arrest was just a few weeks ago (January 14) on drug distribution charges. He was released on only a $15 000 bond according to Fulton County Jail records and is currently awaiting trial.
Charges against Lomas include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Alprazolam ? also known as Xanax – and possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.
TMZ reports that weeks prior to his January 14th arrest, Lomas had drugged his girlfriend after she wouldn’t run away with him:
Max Lomas was arrested January 14th after the girlfriend’s family called cops and said they believed he was holding Danyela Bradley against her will and drugging her so she would stay. Cops responded but the girl said she was fine and not being forcibly held.
But cops found weed and a gun and arrested him for possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. The felony was for allegedly possessing drugs with intent to distribute. And he was also busted for illegal Xanax. Cops found a stash of drugs, including 5.2 ounces of weed, 2 marijuana grinders, a digital scale and 1,000 Ziploc bags.
But that wasn’t his first arrest… other arrest records show Maxwell Lomas was also previously arrested in connection to drugs, firearms and alcohol, plus a probation violation.
In June 2011, he was drinking alcohol and firing shotguns into the air with a group of friends at the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area in Dawsonville.
After police saw the group of young men, authorities investigated and allegedly found nearly four ounces of marijuana in bags.
Lomas was charged with consumption of alcohol on a wildlife management area, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime. He was also arrested for a probation violation the next year.
This doesn’t look good. Clearly it’s all speculation at this point but all signs point to the obvious.
