Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, still remains hospitalized after she was found unresponsive in her Atlanta home Saturday morning.

A relative recently confirmed to WXIA that Bobbi Kristina Brown was placed in a medically induced coma, though hospital officials will not confirm her condition.

According to close family members, the 21-year old had been working out lately and seemed to be on a positive path in the days leading up to her hospitalization and they’re all hoping and praying for a miracle recovery.

According to NBCNews the family is hopeful that Brown will recover:

“She’s been through a lot, you know what I’m saying. This is a hard time, it’s her mother’s anniversary of her death. It’s been a hard time, it’s a rough time of year,” Jerod Brown, who said he was Bobbi Kristina Brown’s first cousin, said Saturday.

“But she’s a tiger, she’s going to pull through it.”

The cousin also revealed that Bobbi Kristina had been taking better care of her health:

“Kris has been doing well, working out. She’s been in the gym, doing cardio. … Swimming a lot, getting her vocals right for this album that she’s about to come out with,”

Jerod Brown said. “Right now, we just want her to get better.”

The incident is being treated as a medical investigation and Roswell Police Officer Lisa Holland told NBC News that investigators found no drugs in Brown’s home.

After Bobbi Kristina was taken to the hospital, a surface search of Brown and Gordon’s home yielded no evidence of drugs or foul play.

“We don’t leave any stone unturned,” the police spokesperson said.

“So the police took a search warrant on the home. Before the warrant, initially when the police went into the home there were nothing there that indicated that anything out of the ordinary happened. There were no drugs out in the open.”

While that’s a positive note, sources close to the situation have revealed that Bobbi Kristina may have ingested a strong ‘cocktail’ of drugs consisting of a combination of crack, marijuana and alcohol.

There have been conflicting reports on Bobbi Kristina’s recovery, but all seem to contain similar information:

Bobbi K’s brother/husband Nick Gordon is also under investigation and he apparently can’t even visit the hospital without going to jail, since the restraining order that Pat Houston got last year is still in effect.

While the family feud continues between the Houston/Brown clan, Bobby Brown has reportedly visited the hospital and issued a statement on behalf of the family:

“Privacy is requested in this matter,” Bobby said.

“Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time.” A lawyer for the family added, “The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia is accurate. No additional information will be forthcoming.”

The situation looks bleak, but miracles can happen, if you have faith.
