Y’all thought it was all over after the airing of the season finale but it seems that the drama has followed ‘Sorority Sisters‘ offline.
Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. was first to take action against VH1’s controversial Black Greek sorority show by suspended two of it’s members (click HERE if you missed that).
Now Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. has followed suit, but they took it a bit further and has permanently EXPELLED all of the Deltas involved in the show!
Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated has levied the supreme punishment against 5 of the show?s participants, permanent expulsion!
The expelled parties are:
? MeToya Monroe, State University of West Georgia, Carrollton
? Adrene Ashford from Marietta
? Shanna McCormick from Nashville
– Lydia Mitchell and Priyanka Banks from Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL
MadameNoire?reports that?the news was posted via the sorority’s national website on January 13, 2015:
For those of you who are privy to DST history, January 13th (the day the ladies were all officially expelled from the sorority) happens to the be the 102nd anniversary of the day Delta Sigma Theta was founded.
DST didn?t inform the ladies of their expulsion until sometime in the evening because several of the members celebrated their founder?s day via social media.
Whatever the case, what’s done is done and Delta has now played their had in the ‘Sorority Sisters’ saga. ?Now let’s see if Sigma follows suit…
