Bill Cosby‘s wife Camille has finally broken her silence about the recent sexual assault allegations against her husband and his daughter Evin has also publicly defended her dad.
In a statement released by CBS News, Camille writes that her “kind,” “generous” and “funny” husband is not the person the media has painted him as in light of the recent accusations.
Having a different story told everyday has got to be devastating for the family, but the devoted wife stands by her husband even though more than 20 woman have made allegations against him.

Camille compared the claims against her husband to the recent Rolling Stone article that detailed an alleged gang rape at a University of Virginia fraternity.
“The story was heart-breaking, but ultimately appears to be proved untrue,” Camille wrote. “Many in the media were quick to link that story to stories about my husband — until that story unwound.”
Cosby’s daughter Evin also has a lot to say about the matter and she used her Facebook page to blast Spelman College’s decision to distance themselves from the family, who have donated millions to the Atlanta-area HBCU.

Camille Cosby issued the following statement to CBS news:
Camille Cosby feels that her husband may be the victim in all of this and she, as well as many others, question the accuracy and timing of the allegations, many of which are based on incidents that allegedly occurred over 20 years ago.
With all the drama surrounding the Cosby Family, Spelman College posted the following statement to their website, December 14, 2014 regarding the millions donated by the family:
The William and Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby Endowed Professorship was established to bring positive attention and accomplished visiting scholars to Spelman College in order to enhance our intellectual, cultural and creative life; however, the current context prevents us from continuing to meet these objectives fully. Consequently, we will suspend the program until such time that the original goals can again be met.
Evan Cosby, a former Spelman student, states that the college should be ‘ashamed’ of themselves for their decision.? She states via facebook that they should rethink the decision based on the fact that others have also been wrongly accused:
Evin also voiced a strong opinion on rape, stating:
Evin also questioned the validity of the alleged victim’s recollections of the supposed incidents, stating:
And last but not least, Evin took a moment to express gratitude for the support she and her family has received, stating:
:I would like to thank EVERYONE that has been sharing, voicing and putting their beautiful positive energy out there for me and my family. There will always be jealous, vengeful and crazy people out there to break anyone down. Everyday we wake up and appreciate the love and support from everyone. There’s more positive in life then we think. It’s the BS that can be overwhelming. We keep fighting each day. The challenges in life can only make us stronger. The ones that are angry can’t live as easy as the ones that can love, RESPECT and not to find the easy way out by making FALSE accusations. It’s a shame how some people sit behind the computer waiting for bad things to happen to someone. Isn’t it easier to be happy? And to want the best for someone that has done such great things in life? It could be a friend, a family or a pet…. Just be HAPPY! It’s waaaaay easier. Thank you again!,” she posted.
“Thank you Jill Scott and Faizon Love!! I would also like say THANK YOU for the all the other intelligent people that know what this is! We are standing strong! Xoxo- Evin”
