The Atlanta strip club immortalized in many a rap song is now seeking to preserve it’s image and is now going after a Chicago club that jacked the name.

TMZ reports that ATL’s famed Magic City strip club recently filed a lawsuit against a Chicago club bearing the same name claiming the namesake club is insinuating the two joints are connected … but they’re not.

The Atlanta club owners are indignant because they’ve created a huge cache in the rap community, where stars like Outkast, T.I., Jay-Z, Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy, Future, Ying Yang Twins and many many more have referenced Magic City in their songs.
The original Magic City strip club wants to shut down the knockoff, claiming it cheapens their brand and confuses consumers.
For as we all know… there is only ONE Magic City strip club and it’s in Atlanta. Not Chi-Town. Duh!
