Nene is fresh off the heels of a RHOA scandal after receiving a ton of heat from fans for her ‘Pillow Talk’ event.

Many still blame Nene but she said it it was Kenya Moore who was the ‘spark’ that lit the flame… turning her couples ‘Pillow Talk’ event into a night of violence and fighting.

That being said, there’s also a rumor going around that Nene quit the top rated reality show, if you believe that… I’ve got some land in Africa that I’m selling real cheap (Kenya).
Details below…
In case you missed it, Nene addressed Part 2 of ‘Pillow Talk’ in yet another blog post, stating:
I created this game called “Pillow Talk.” It all started from Gregg and I basically discussing our day or any issues we had with each other at the end of our day once we got in bed at night. Obviously this party is for adults only with adult topics and content that build unity, start conversation and debates between couples, friends, and even strangers! All the guests that were invited knew in advance what the dress code was and what my intentions were — to build unity within the group.

Yes, questions were being asked that some were uncomfortable with! I DID NOT write the questions, but I asked them, so blame me for that! I’ll accept that! I’ll even accept you saying I stirred the pot, but I can’t take the blame for uncontrollable adults picking up their fists to fight. Everyone is responsible for their own actions! Well, how do you have a debate without controversy? I guess you don’t! I don’t want to rehash this conversation any more than I already have. I already stated that Kenya charged out of her seat, and whether you could see it or not she did, and I stand by that! I also said Christopher NEVER touched her in an aggressive way. He was only trying to stop her from charging his wife, and I stand by that! I’m the first to tell you that a man should never touch a woman aggressively, and he didn’t! The rest of the ladies on the cast have spoken, so I rest my case. (what ladies? Cynthia and Phaedra? )
Thanks to those of you who support me week after week and know that I keep it real and thanks to those of you that can see through the BS. For those of you that CAN’T see through the BS, try Visine, it gets the red out #shade .
Stay Fabulous,
NeNe Leakes
P.S. Did I hear someone say I was “gay bashing” because I called Brandon a queen? Really? Bravo has a show called Fashion Queens with two very out gay men in women?s clothing, makeup, jewelry, and high heels! Are they “gay bashing”? Try something else, boo, because that won’t work! Girl, bye.
Fast forward a few days and rumors of Nene quitting the show hit the net. ?The talk all started when an email from someone claiming to be a member of Bravo’s production staff began circulating on the net.
The letter, which originated at FameDriven (which is filled with typos and misspellings) reads as follows:
I work as a member of the production staff on BRAVO?s ?The Real Housewives of Atlanta? and I wanted to clarify for people what was not aired during the brawl in last nights episode since Nene Leakes has slandered us, the True Entertainment production staff, and editors of the show. For one, Nene?s erratic behavior was simply because she felt Kenya?s tardiness to her event was a devised plan for the producers to make Kenya the new star of the show, and it was NOT! Before Kenya arrived Nene was ranting, pacing, and cursing us out about how she is the star of the show, she is the relevant actress, she made ?The Real Housewives of Atlanta? the success it is today, and she should not have to wait for Kenya to arrive to her event. Two PA?s were verbally disrespected and threatened by Nene when they simply tried to diffuse the situation by telling Nene that the scene could not wrap until all housewives (Kenya included) were present, we didn?t air any of that footage.
When Kenya arrived to the event Nene was already pissed, but we the producers told Nene beforehand that Kenya was going to be running late. Nene then reverted her frustrations towards Kenya and that?s when she thought to bring up the Christopher Williams and his ?common law? wife rumor, that Kenya stated at the winery, so that the room would gang up on Kenya, and it didn?t work out as Nene had originally planned. Prior to that night, Nene and Kenya had no issues, it wasn?t until one of the housewife husbands blurted out at Nene?s pajama party that ?we have to wait for the new star of the show to arrive?, which triggered Nene?s anger, and entailed what the viewers witnessed leading up to the melee. We didn?t edit, manipulate, or conjure up a devious plan to sabotage Nene like she would want people to beleive. We can not provide or present footage that a housewife does not put out of themselves to be recorded. So for Nene to blame poor editing on the production and editing staff is the furthest from the truth, and showing no accountability on her end. For obvious reasons, BRAVO network decided not to allow Nene?s blog to go up on their site when part 1 of the brawl occurred, because the network knew what Nene was saying was not the truth.
I doubt that anyone on the production staff would risk their job to send a letter to a blog. ?But what do I know… *shrug*
There are several battles that haven’t aired yet… one being the ‘Bailey Bowl’ where Nene reportedly got pissed at executive producer of the show, Carlos King, when she was forced into a scene with Marlo Hampton… (click HERE if you missed that).
As you know, the episodes that are airing now were taped months ago, so all the talk about Nene walking off and quitting are just that… talk.
While there’s no word on what may happen AFTER the reunion, one thing’s for sure…. Nene is still gainfully under contract with RHOA and can not just ‘QUIT’ the show.
