Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has shed her ‘red bottoms’ for red jogging attire…. at least temporarily.

The newly REmarried ‘housewife’ took a pause for the cause to jump the broom with her fake ex-husband over the summer (PHOTOS) and while the ATL stunna’s NBC show, “The New Normal,” was unfortunately cancelled earlier this year, it’s certainly not curtains for her Hollywood acting career…

The statuesque reality star will return to a television near you as Coach Roz Washington on Fox’s upcoming 5th season of GLEE, and she couldn?t be more excited.

Leakes even tweeted a photo rocking her ‘Coach Roz’ track suit with co-star Jane Lynch a few days ago (August 14, 2013)….

Leakes was a fan favorite, and has received tons of accolades as the brash, and intimidating adolescent sports coach.? Although it was not a huge stretch from ‘real life’ persona, word on the curb is that her “big break” in The New Normal was due to her portrayal of Coach Roz.

Details are sketchy, but several sources say that the “Real Housewife” will return to GLEE for multiple episodes, which picks up her storyline from last year.

When we last saw Roz, she had given up her position as coach of the swim team and taken over control of the Cheerios, prying them away from Sue’s (Jane Lynch) hands. And while we don’t yet know exactly what Roz will be up to this season, we’re crossing our fingers for some more of her notoriously hilarious and long-winded rants.

Though SFTA doesn’t tune in on the regular, NeNe clips on youtube makes it easy to see why she keeps getting welcomed back to the hit show!

Add “GLEE” to her upcoming “I Dream of NeNe” (returning September 17) and her launchpad show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta… and its clear that Nene can still yell out to the world she’s “Rich…Very Rich!”
