In case you haven’t heard, Dexter Scott King, the youngest son of Civil Rights Icons Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King married his “longtime” girlfriend, Leah Weber, in a private ceremony in California a few weeks ago.

Many of you online detectives have sought to find out more information about King’s elusive new bride, who is dang near invisible online, and have turned up quite a bit of information.

Michelle! What’s the tea on Dexter King’s new wife? I found a video YouTube whre she started a LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transexual) dating site. I also found the site’s facebook page and the twitter account but can’t find anything else about her.

It’s called “EliteNoire” or EliteNoire.com but there is no website coming up.

I’m sure you have more entertaining posts to write, but please follow up about this interesting information about the newest member of the King family.

This is Atlanta history and it’s driving me crazy that I can’t find a picture or any information at all.

According to a few of my loyal readers, Ms. Weber is the c0-founder of ‘Elite Noire,’ a now defunct online dating service that was geared towards ‘African-America men and women who prefer and enjoy same sex relationships.”

Weber founded the site in Atlanta back in 2009 and Elite Noire, LLC. was registered with the Georgia Secretary of States Office from October 2010 up until May of 2012.

As you know, Dexter’s father Martin Luther King, Jr. stood for equality for ALL… so this information shouldn’t be too shocking.

While the site is gone, the EliteNoire.com Facebook page?is still available but hasn’t been active since?late 2011 and the EliteNoire twitter account?is still up but tweets stopped in 2011 as well. ?Also, photos on the facebook page suggest that the dating site sponsored several successful parties and functions around the Atlanta area.

All I know is… the letter says “US” so if that means Ms. Weber was once a lezzbun, so what? People change their minds sometimes.

It does seems odd though, that a person so well versed in websites and social networking is pretty much invisible online. ?Then again… ?maybe it’s not that odd after all.

According to the press statement released by the King Center, the couple ‘plans to reside in Malibu, California where King has lived for several years’, so perhaps Weber’s online ‘disappearance’ was well calculated and planned out.

Smart move… dontcha think? ?Privacy is King these days….
