The 911 call has been released that documents what happened when Chris Kelly of Kris Kross was found unresponsive in his home Wednesday afternoon.

A call came through to Fulton County’s 911 system that appears to be from the rappers mother, who is listed in the police report as stating that her son ingested a combination of cocaine and heroine, known as a ?speedball? the night before his death.

During the 911 call, the caller tells the dispatcher that Chris is not breathing. The dispatcher then walks her through instructions on how to resuscitate him.

Kelly, who reportedly had a history of drug abuse, was reportedly pronounced dead about an hour later after being transported to the hospital.

The rapper had been on and off drugs (including cocaine and heroin) for the last ten years, but had recently cleaned up his act.

According to TMZ it was Kris Kross’ big comeback during their performance at the SoSo Def 20th Anniversary concert in Atlanta last February that may have sparked his renewed interest in drugs.

According to sources, Kelly’s ego blew up … along with his wallet … and he started hanging out in clubs again, chumming up with big name Atlanta rappers.

We’re told the drugs came back in full force as a result.As we reported,

Kelly’s mother told police the rapper had been taking speedballs (coke and heroin mixed together) Tuesday night … the night before he died … and cops believe drugs contributed to his death.
