Well, it appears Scrap Merlo Jones aka Darryl Richardson was avoiding being picked up by his probation officer in a public place.

In other words, Mona & ‘nem have added a lil “reality” to the docu-drama by making him wait until the premiere episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta aired (click HERE if you missed it) to turn himself in to Dekalb County authorities, which he did this morning while VH1 cameras rolled.

Scrappy turned himself in this morning with a supportive Erica Dixon by his side.? VH1 cameras were rolling and photographer Prince Williams (ATLPics) was there to capture the moment as well.

Lil Scrappy is a lil’ jailbird — the rapper-slash-reality star turned himself in to an ATL jail this morning after cops say he refused to submit to a court-ordered urine test …

Officials say Scrappy violated his probation back in March after a dispute over a pee test. According to court officials, Scrappy tried to turn in a urine sample that was cold to the touch and may have been tampered with … and when asked to submit another cup, he refused.

The court eventually issued a warrant for his arrest … and moments ago, the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star turned himself in.

It’s not the first time Scrappy has violated probation… (click HERE to refresh your memory) and I’m sure it won’t be the last
