EJ stepped out hand-in-hand with his boo on LA?s Sunset Strip in full Derek J. regalia… purse, heels and all!

While out enjoying the evening, Earvin, rocked a black fur coat paired with leggings and a red handbag. He chatted with photographers about his famous dad?s baseball team, the LA Dodgers, and sent him his love.

And No… it was NOT an April Fools joke!

Magic and Cookie aren’t ashamed and issued the following statement to TMZ:

?Cookie and I love EJ and support him in every way.? Magic added, ?We?re very proud of him.?

EJ, a 20-year-old student at NYU, is Magic and Cookie?s firstborn son. He’s always been a bit flamboyant, so this news isn’t much of a surprise but it’s great to see that his parents are still so supportive.

Magic also has a son, Andre Johnson, 31, from a previous relationship and an adopted daughter, Elisha Johnson, with Cookie.
