I bet you’ll never guess what former Badboy/ Diddy sidepiece kick Mason Betha and 90’s rap icon Montel Jordan have in common with Real Housewives of Atlanta background character/ex-con Marlo Hampton…

Lets’ see… besides the fact that Ma$e was arrested for picking up a tranny?in Atlanta that time (and no, the Tranny wasn’t Marlo!), all 3 live in ATL… but that ain’t it.

Montel quit music to become an Atlanta pastor and Ma$e and his wife Twyla had their own Atlanta congregation online and off.

While both Ma$e and Montel have been heavily involved in spreading the gospel of our heavenly father to their respective churches, but I doubt that Martavious Marlo has ever stepped foot in a pulpit.

Montel and Ma$e also hit the height of their popularity as rappers back in the 90’s, but I don’t think that Marko Marlo ever spit a verse on wax.

And if you’re thinking it’s because all of their names start with “M”… well think again!

In case you haven’t guessed by now, Ma$e, Montel and Marlo have all had problems paying their taxes this year and each of them had liens imposed on their properties because of the debts.

TMZ broke the news on Ma$e and Montel, while RVAlien shed light on Marlo’s late pass with the State of Georgia.

Mason Betha and his $124,774.85 tax lein…

According to documents filed in Florida by the IRS, Ma$e owes a total of $124,774.85 in back taxes … stemming from the years 2000, 2001 and 2004.

Perhaps not coincidentally, Ma$e retired from the music business in 1999 after saying he got a “calling from God.” After a turn with the ministry, Ma$e returned with an album in (you guessed it) 2004. (source)

 

Then theres Montel Jordan and his $624,987.07 tax lien…

All the gang bangers forgetting about the drive-by isn’t nearly as bad as Montell Jordan forgetting to pay his taxes … to the tune of $627,987.06.

The “This Is How We Do It” star owes Uncle Sam back taxes for the years 1999-2001. According to the Federal Tax Lien filed against Jordan, the government first filed a lien against him in 2004 — but since he still hasn’t paid up, they refiled it last month. (source)

The IRS is looking for their money ASAP and if they don’t get it, they can go after his property in court.

And last but not least – Marlo Hampton’s $5,100+ Georgia Tax Liens…

Granted, Marlo’s tax debt doesn’t nearly compare to Ma$e and Montel’s but if she’s bragging about ALL of her bills being paid, including the townhouse and Aston Martin she paid for in cash, shouldn’t she have knocked off those lil tax liens first?
