Bravo has officially addressed Sheree Whitfield‘s departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta via it’s blog.

In a post dated April 23, 2012, Bravo tv writes…

After four seasons with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sheree Whitfield is officially ready to leave the smalls behind.

?Yes it is official I’m leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta. I enjoyed my time working with everyone affiliated with the show,? Atlanta?s most fit momma announced on her Twitter page.

Bravo confirmed the news, stating, “We have enjoyed working with Sheree as part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. We wish her all the best in the future.”

Bravo was referencing the “announcement” Whitfield released prior to Part 2 of the RHOA season 4 reunion show.

The statement was apparently made to “save face” after Sheree realized that she was probably going to lose big time during the reunion show. Especially after she was confronted with her “exit” montage during Part 3 of the show.

The network goes on to make it blatantly clear that Sheree is no longer working with them in any capacity in the remainder of the blog post, which reads:

Sheree then used her Twitter page to thank fans for their continued support and discuss future plans (including a workout DVD?).

?God has granted me the wisdom and courage to move forward to act on opportunities,? she writes. ?I am not going anywhere from here but up.?

Even though Sheree?s no longer filming with Kim Zolciak, we?re sure the two friends will remain close.

After all, Kim still owes Sheree her matchmaking services as a finder?s fee for Kroy, right? ?I WILL be back next season on RHOA …. Going to miss @IamSheree though!!!? the preggers wig-wearer tweeted, and Sheree replied, ?I’ll miss you too!!!?
