Just a few days ago Bobby Brown was onstage with New Edition rocking out to their reunion concert.

But today, March 26, 2012, Brown sits in a Los Angeles jail cell after being arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence… *sigh*

According to TMZ, the 43 year old ‘king of r&b’ was arrested after being pulled over in Reseda, California around 3:20pm EST this afternoon.

Brown was talking on a cell phone while he was driving and there’s no word yet on what “substance” he is accused of being influenced by… there’s also no mugshot (yet) but being as though he has several, we can imagine what it looks like.

As you know, Brown has several DUI convictions under his belt. One in Georgia for 1996, where he plead GUILTY and served 8 days in jail.

Brown was placed back front & center in the media after ex-wife Whitney Houston died in her Beverly Hills hotel room February 11, 2012.? Many continue to blame him for her demise, even though it is widely rumored that Houston was a drug user prior to meeting Brown.

It was thought that Bobby, who was turned away from the death scene and booted from Whitney’s funeral service early after a disagreement with Houston’s family, was back on the clean & sober path, but perhaps the stress of Houston’s death combined with his deteriorating relationship with their 19 year old daughter Bobbi Kristina, has finally taken it’s toll.

Bobby has reportedly been bailed out after only spending about 2hours behind bars.

Whatever he’s going through, I pray that Bobby finally finds some peace in the situation.
