Remember Brandon White, the 20-year old Atlanta gay man who was the “star” of a viral video where he was beaten by three men outside a neighborhood store for wearing “skinny jeans” while the men also yelled gay slurs at him?

Well White reportedly lied about some key details of the assault!

Brandon spoke out about the incident at a press conference where he told reporters he did NOT know his attackers or why they jumped him.

I have never seen those guys before. I go to that store plenty times. I don’t bother anybody I don’t talk to anybody. No, I have never seen those guys before.

It was all a dream… reportedly White knew his attackers quite well!

In fact, it is now believed that Brandon had been taunting the “gangbangers” about their sexuality.

Members of Change Atlanta, a gay rights organization, have brought up some information that sheds more light on the bizarre assault case.

In their quest for details surrounding what they originally THOUGHT was a gay hate crime, Change Atlanta interviewed several witnesses in the Pittsburgh community who know White and his alleged attackers and they discovered shocking new details about White’s prior relationship with some of his attackers.

It has now been revealed that the attack was not a random hate crime against an “innocent” victim, the motivation was actually REVENGE.

Brandon was agitating these young men about personally exposing them for being DL gay – on the down low possibly gay.

The young men responded because they don’t want their families to know.

Dorian Moragne, Christopher Cain and Dareal Williams have all been apprehended and are currently in custody regarding the assault.

One suspect, Dorian Moragne has spoken up and confirmed that they knew White.

He was very clear about being sure that Brandon White in fact knew the other attackers in question.

The attack on White allegedly centered around a video White had on his cell phone. If you recall, that viral video of the attack shows one of the men grab White’s phone during the beating.

It’s a video of somebody performing a sexual act with one or a few of these young men. That’s why the cell phone was a target.

They didn’t just beat him up because he was gay.

Devin Ward was among the first in the community to speak out against the beating, fully supporting White when he first saw the beating video on TV, now he feels White may owe the community an apology.

If indeed this is shown to be truthful in that Brandon did have prior interaction with these young men, Brandon needs to come forward and make his wrong right.

Atlanta Police is still investigating the case and while it is still an “assault” and a crime was still committed whether or not White knew his attackers, this new information is definitely interesting.

White has not commented on these new developments and the FBI is also still investigating as to whether or not a hate crime was committed.

So my question to YOU is.

If it’s true that Brandon White was tormenting “downlow” gangbangers with blackmail video, did he deserve a beatdown?
