Comedian Katt Williams is in trouble with the law….again.? After a string of bizarre incidents in Newnan County, Georgia where he was posted up while working on a film, Katt claimed Georgia lawmen were on a witch hunt.

I dunno if that’s true or not, but apparently two arrest warrants have been issued in Atlanta (Fulton County) for Katt’s arrest stemming from an incident that occurred during that same period.

The warrant, issued last month, is for battery and false imprisonment in Fulton County, GA, stemming from an alleged incident at the Four Seasons Hotel the night of November 12.

According to the police report, Merion Powers claims Katt invited him to the Four Seasons to discuss a debt. Powers sensed trouble brewing and decided to record the conversation on his cell phone.

According to the report, “Mr. Williams was on audio recording stating that he did physically strike Mr. Power’s once in the nose.” and “a physical struggle was apparent by listening to the audio recording on this date. ”

TMZ is claiming that a source claims that Powers is merely after money from Katt and? is attempting to extort the comedian over a musical recording made by Williams. When Katt told Powers to kick rocks, Powers’ pal called the hotel security, security called the cops, but the cops didn’t believe Powers and left without arresting Katt.

Williams is expected to turn himself in soon.

Katt’s having a string of bad luck lately. This can’t be good.
