Last Friday, (July 8, 2011) Monica and her Los Angeles Laker hubby Shannon Brown was all smiles as they held a pre-wedding celebration dinner at BOA Steakhouse in L.A.

As you know, Mo, 30, and Shannon, 25, originally exchanged vows in a private ceremony held at Shannon’s L.A. home November 22, 2010…

Monica & Shannon decided to jump the broom again on Saturday, July 9, 2011, in front of hundreds of family & friends during a Christian ceremony held at a renovated 19th century cathedral in downtown Los Angeles.

Missy Elliott, Toya Wright & her new hubby Memphitz, Kandi Burruss, Jermaine Dupri, Lala Vasquez, Carmelo Anthony, fellow Laker stars Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher and more all attended the joyous occasion.

The first single from Monica’s highly anticipated seventh studio album ?New Life? has finally been released.

?Anything (To Find You)? is a Missy Elliott produced track, which samples Notorious B.I.G.?s ?Who Shot Ya?? and features raps from Rick Ross and Lil Kim.

Monica opens up the song borrowing a line from Mary J. Blige’s classic 1995 hit, ‘You’re All I Need to Get By”, singing:

Like sweet morning dew/ I take one look at you/ And it was plain to see/ You were my destiny…

Then Ross hits the beat with a few bars…

We the big bank boys on the boulevard/ Putting all the pretty girls in the pretty cars/ Thou shalt not f*ck with Rozay pockets/ Feel a hundred shots when I pop it…

Lil Kim drops a verse reeking of heartbreak….

Who shot ya? Pow, I guess it was Cupid. Golden arrow through the heart, let the blood drip. Somebody call the doctor ’cause I’m lovesick. Man, I don’ had it with this love sh*t.

WATCH: 10 Things We HATE About Facebook… (Narrated by Puppets) [VIDEO]

You know the stats but let me tell you again…. 500 MILLION people worldwide use Facebook.

That means that just about everyone you know has a Facebook profile and those that say they don’t are probably lying to you.

That being said, social networking is so common place that it has become a part of our everyday existence.

Due to the commonality of our use of social networking, we all have our pet peeves.

I ran across a hilarious viral video recently entitled, “Top 10 Things We Hate About Facebook”.

The video is narrated by puppets but the furry creatures capture the essence of “all things Facebook” that rub us the wrong way.? From photos of the dinner it took your “friend” hours to prepare to Mom stalking your page… I think they just about covered ’em all!

I still can’t stop laughing… 😆

Waka Flocka Flame Pulls A “Jay-Z”… (Talks Rap Retirement)

Waka Flocka Flame decided to get his “grown man on” recently and dropped in his saggin jeans to try on a few business suits.

Flocka also did something else surprising… following in the steps of his rap elder, Jay-Z, Flocka announced he would be quitting the rap game next year…

Ummmm…. perhaps he meant he raps “quite” well. 😕

Whatever the case, Flocka hit up V-103’s Elle Duncan to explain his decision and confirmed that he’s definitely OverIt(dot)com…

The game as a whole is a fake. I’m tired of going through what I go through…

It’s hard not to see the natural progression in this situation.? He ain’t foolin’ nobody! Waka’s been reading the 48 Laws of Power and has decided to utilize Law #16 ~ Use absence to create honor & respect.

Jay-Z did it… and came back a few years later talmbout ’30 is the new 20′. Then he married Beyonce and the rest is history.? Flocka may be on to something…

Mugshot Mania ~ NeNe Leakes’ Son Bryson Caught Shoplifting… *UPDATED*

NeNe Leakes oldest son Bryson Bryant posed for yet another mugshot yesterday. Apparently NeNe found out this morning, and according to her tweets, shes not too happy about it…

Details are sketchy, but Bryson was booked into jail at 10:07pm last night (July 7, 2011). He is being charged with shoplifting and violation of probation. No word yet on a bond.

As you know, Bryson has been arrested several times in the past and the probation violation charge probably stems from one of his previous arrests.

Last year, Bryson was arrested when he was found to be in possession of marijuana while visiting a friend in jail. He was arrested a 2nd time on a separate drugs & weapons charge.

*UPDATE* According to TMZ, Bryant is accused of jacking two Mach 3 razors from a Walmart .. and was busted by the Walmart security team. The razors were reportedly valued at $14 bux a piece.

Word on the curb is that legendary singer Chaka Khan (shown above during last week’s Essence Festival in New Orleans), stiffed her landlord on rental payments.

Reportedly, Chaka and her entourage rented a home last month, then packed up in the middle of the night… never to be seen again!
