Jennifer Hudson’s newest Weight Watcher’s commercial features her big and small self singing a duet of “I Believe in You & Me”.? The new ad spot aired during the X Factor finale last week.
As you know, J-Hud has shed at least 80lbs since signing on with the popular diet company and dropped from a size 22 to a size 0, a feat some feel was reached with surgical assistance in addition to her eating habits.

Jennifer has moved past the drama and even launched her very own Weight Watchers Diet Center in her hometown of Chicago and she appears to be getting smaller by the minute.
She has wrote of her diet struggles in a new book, entitled, I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down, where she reveals she turned down the title role in the movie Precious because she didn’t want to be typecast as just another “fat” actress.

In an excerpt from her new book featured in Uptown Magazine, Jennifer revealed that around the time she was wrapping up her run of appearances and award shows for the Academy Award-winning movie ?Dreamgirls,? she was asked?by director Lee Daniels to play the?lead role of “Precious.”
Do you know how difficult it is to find a 300lb. black girl to be great in a movie? They don’t exist in Hollywood.
She turned down the opportunity because the thought of packing on pounds (like she did for ?Dreamgirls?), was too much to bear:
I had [gained weight] with Effie [in Dreamgirls]’ and as much as I was moved by this film, I wanted to try a role that had nothing whatsoever to do with my weight.’
Shortly thereafter,?Hudson went on to co-star alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in the first ?Sex and the City? movie,?while Sidibe (who cut class to audition for the role) won acclaim with her breakout role in the film.
I’m a firm believer in the affirmation ‘what’s truely yours can never be taken away’… so clearly everything that happened in that situation was destined to be.
Jennifer became the spokesperson for Weight Watchers in April of 2010, about nine months after giving birth to her son David Daniel Otunga Jr.
