Remember that time Soulja Boy got arrested for fleeing from the po-po? (click HERE to refresh your memory)

Well he’s older and wiser now, so SB didn’t run from the cops… BUT he has added another mugshot to his collection after he and a few of his friends were arrested late last night (or shall I say EARLY this morning).

The newly-minted 21-year-old, also known as DeAndre Cortez Way, was traveling west on I-20 earlier this morning with four other men when their Cadillac Escalade was pulled over in Temple, about 20 miles east of the Alabama state line.

Temple Police spokeswoman officer Dana Rampy said the policeman who made the stop searched the car and found ?a substantial amount? of marijuana, cash and handguns in the vehicle.

Way and his four travel mates were each charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute, and were taken to the Carroll County Jail.

?It was a lot of marijuana,? Rampy told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, although she could not disclose the exact amount.

?All of the individuals were very cooperative,? she said.

It is unclear how many weapons police found in the SUV, or what traffic violation they were stopped for, but Rampy said more charges are pending.

Bond has not been set, pending the investigation and a complete set of charges.

Drugs, guns AND cash…? some people don’t even deserve their freedom! *sigh*? Umma need DeAndre Cortez Way to do better…
