Word on the curb is that NFL hall of famer Deion Sanders and Pilar, his lovely wife & mother of his 3 youngest children, have split up and that it was Deion who filed those papers… (cue Usher…)

But hold up before y’all start planning the divorce celebration. Deion says that while things are pretty rocking between them right now, he has NOT filed for divorce.

Deion hadn’t “officially” made any media statements a few days ago, but now he’s spoken to at least one outlet, and yes… he’s still denying any papers were ever filed.

According to TMZ, Deion says he and Pilar have talked about splitting up, but he’s NEVER filed legal papers:

Prime Time says that he and Pilar are currently still together — but in the process of figuring out “what’s best for our future, our lives, and our kids.”

Reports are circulating the two split after allegations Deion was unfaithful — but Sanders tells us the infidelity rumors were nothing more than a failed extortion attempt.

As for why the marriage is rocky … Deion explained, “it’s not one isolated incident,” adding, “sometimes you just grow apart.”

All of this probably just means they are living apart and trying to figure out how to split up assets.? But who knows?

Crazy thing is… it was Pilar who started all of this in the media when she confirmed that the divorce had been filed:

Did they file for divorce or didn’t they? Somebody’s lying… but do we even care?
