Yesterday I asked the question “Where is Andre 3000?” when no photos of Dre’ showed up from Beyonce’s video shoot for “Party” .

But then I remembered! *light bulb moment* Andre 300 wasn’t on Beyonce’s video set because….he’s on currently on vacation with my booski Antwan “Big Boi” Patton!

The two set sail on a luxury cruise a few days ago and Big has been tweeting photos rubbing all the sunshine and blue waters in our face…

A lil birdie told me a while ago that Big would be partaking in a lil fun in the sun on a luxury cruise for a much needed family vacation AND that Dre would be joining them.

Dre and Big have a few things to hash out before a new Outkast album can be finalized and getting away from all the hub-bub of the states is just what the doctor ordered for these two.

Big left Jive Records for Def Jam last year and the move created a divide amongst the world’s greatest hip-hop duo, with Dre choosing to remain on Jive.

While it’s evident there were differences, I’m almost positive the duo had no idea the move would create creative conflicts.? They soon found out when Jive blocked Big from including a song featuring Dre on his Sir Lucious Leftfoot album.

Last year, Big explained that Jive was kinda salty about his departure, stating:

Well, basically it boils down to Jive Records. That?s how they do it. Jive Records told me my album is a piece of art, and they didn?t know what to do with it. So I moved it over to Def Jam.

And now Jive is trying to block Dr? from being on my record. We can?t be on songs together now.

Dre and Big are now putting their heads together to see how this situation can best be worked out.

In the meantime, they’ve been in the studio making music together but I’ve been told that Dre wants to release a solo project prior to releasing an Outkast album.

In any event, an Outkast project is imminent and I’m sure it will be full of that Dungeon Family fawnk!
