A 17 year old South Atlanta teen got the shock of a lifetime yesterday after the Clayton County SWAT team kicked in his front door!
The teens father, spoke with Atlanta’s WSB news, explaining that it was his son’s Facebook page that prompted the visit.
Authorities say Jonathan Oliver posted photos on Facebook of himself waving a gun along with comments that he wanted to kill police.
Yep… seems about right 😕
But get this… when the SWAT team busted into their house, screaming and using tear gas… all they found was a few BB guns. *sigh*
Details below:
Investigators apparently began looking at the boys page after he was implicated in gang activity.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault connected with the gang.
The teen’s father, who didn’t want to be identified, said his son and nephew were upstairs asleep when the police arrived.
He walked Channel 2’s Erica Byfield through the home, showing her the dent in his front door where the police kicked it in.
He also showed her shattered glass and marks on the wall from their use of tear gas.
“It’s like my whole house has been invaded. They broke my windows out,” he said.? He also said he wished police would have knocked because he would have let them inside.
“If they wanted to come in and search the house, the could have knocked, came in,? and searched the house.”
A Clayton County police spokesman said they had a no-knock warrant.
“Why should we knock? He?s committing these violent crimes out here,” said Sgt. Otis Willis.
During the raid, police confiscated two BB guns from the house along with a computer and two laptops.
The teen was taken to the Clayton County Jail, where he remains at this time.
The moral of this story? Don’t be a fake “A”zz gangster on FACEBOOK!
