Morton posed for the mugshot above after he put a blow-up sex doll in a bathroom stall on the last day of school. Little did he know, school officials would call a bomb squad or that he’d be facing up to eight years in prison and a possible felony record.

NeNe Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her husband Greg were spotted boo’d up in the corner of the Belvedere Lounge during the 2011 Essence Festival last weekend (July 2, 2011).
The storyline of next season’s “Housewives” is rumored to be focused on Nene & Greg’s “divorce,” so it’s obvious why the two made sure they weren’t photographed together. If you recall, Lisa Wu-Hartwell was booted from the show after she WOULDN’T pretend there was drama in her marriage, apparently NeNe & Greg have decided to play the game.
Greg sat around looking bored in the corner while NeNe left to pose on the red carpet…

Acclaimed author Terrance Dean hit Atlanta last week to host a discussion panel on “Young, Black, Gifted & Gay: Powerful Men in the Entertainment Industry and Our Allies in Partnership” at Outwrite Book Store (June 29, 2011).
Panelists included fellow bloggers Drama Dupree and Gyant (GyantUnplugged), Adrian J. Daniel (aka Sir Daniel of Better Days Radio), George Smith (creator of Black Gay reality series “Tha Life”), Lonnell Williams (3LWTV), and Maurice Jamal (Filmaker/Founder Glo-TV).
I was also thrown into the mix to add my take on the situation as a straight woman and it was quite an experience!
Terrance’s first book, Hiding in Hip-Hop: Confessions of a Down-Low Brother in the Entertainment Industry, sparked a ton of controversy last year when everyone speculated about the identity of the “DL” entertainer featured in the book.
