About a week before Thanksgiving 2010, two dudes where shot outside of Diddy’s Justin’s restaurant here in Atlanta.
As the 2 men were sitting in an SUV listening to music in the parking lot of the establishment, a third man jumped in the backseat with a gun and attempted to rob them.
One man was shot as he fled, another was injured in the vehicle.

Well, apparently one of the victims, a executive, has now filed a lawsuit against Diddy!
A man who was shot and injured at a restaurant owned by rapper-producer Sean “P. Diddy” Combs has filed a federal lawsuit claiming the restaurant failed to maintain a safe environment.? Leroy “Tony” Austin said he was an invited guest to Justin’s Restaurant and Bar in November 2010 when he and another man were shot outside the parking lot.
He said in the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court of Northern Georgia on Friday that the restaurant’s operators knew there was “dangerous and hazardous conditions” around the facility but failed to warn Austin.
The lawsuit also claimed the restaurant in Atlanta’s ritzy Buckhead district failed to provide adequate security protection on the property.
The restaurant’s attorneys did not return phone and email messages. (source)
So now it’s the restaurant’s fault and not the actual perpetrators?
Hell… he may as well be suing the maker of SUV he was sitting in for not “auto-locking” the door, or the maker of the gun he was shot with.
It’s an unfortunate incident for sure, but unless Diddy paid some dude to rob these guys, is it really his fault that they got “got”?
