Word on the curb is that Ciara has been unceremoniously dropped from Jive after her “Basic Instinct” album sales went double wood.
CiCi hit up her social networks (Twitter & Facebook) to let the world know the truth about the rampant rumors and according to her statement, which you can read in it’s entirety below, she has “asked and prayed” for the label to release her.
CiCi says she hasn’t received the proper support to make her projects successful and has spent over “one hundred thousand dollars” out of her own pocket to support her vision.

At this point that rumor is false.. It is true that I have asked and I pray that my label will release me.
