As we celebrate the start of a new year, an Atlanta family is mourning the death of their teen aged son.
Rueben Hand (pictured above) was on his way home after watching the Peach Drop with friends, but the high school freshman never made it to the train.

Word on the curb is that soulful songstress Jazmine Sullivan has pulled a Bobby Ray (aka B.o.B.) and walked away from the music business.
The 23-year-old J Records artist hit her twitter account earlier today with an announcement that she would be taking a break from the recording industry.
About an hour after Jazmine posted the messages they disappeared from her timeline. Apparently deleted by the artist (or someone from her label).
There has been no “official” statement from the label as of yet and I’m hoping that whatever she’s going through is temporary.
Sullivan has been nominated for nine Grammies since her debut in 2009, including this year’s Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for “Holding You Down (Goin’ In Circles).”
Jaz, you’re in my prayers. Do what makes you happy but know that you’ll be leaving behind a lot of disappointed fans.

The new season of Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas’ dating reality show “What Chilli Wants” officially aired tonight (Sunday, January 2nd) and Chilli is back on the air for yet another dating adventure with her so-called “relationship expert” sidekick Tionna Smalls.

I’m still on the fence about the show. I mean, no one knows exactly how Smalls became an “expert” on relationships and why Chilli would take advice from her (of all people), but I guess that’s what makes the show interesting.? Hopefully this time around, Chilli will finally find whatever it is she wants… with or without the help of that self-professed “expert”.
But I digress…
VH1 and Rolling Out Magazine played host for an advance screening of the show in Atlanta last week (December 30th). Chilli graciously greeted the crowd and unveiled her Rolling Out cover? (above) which hits stands January 6th.
It was fun times for all…
