Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Matt Barnes was arrested Wednesday afternoon on charges of domestic violence charges.

Barnes and his fiance/baby mama, Gloria Govan, appeared on the 1st season of vh1’s Basketball Wives.? If you recall, Gloria and the girls on the show often bumped heads due to her superior attitude about her relationship.? Barnes even once demonstrated his hold on his fiance by telling her the other “basketball wives” were a bad influence [a classic sign of an abuser exerting control].

We saw all the signs… now Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Tim Curran says deputies arrested Barnes yesterday (9/8) at the home he shares with Govan after responding to what was termed “an incomplete 911 call from a home around 4:16 p.m. Wednesday”. Continue Reading…
