Fantasia Barrino‘s autobiography is entitled “Life is Not a Fairy Tale” and as we all know it certainly is NOT!? The title of Fantasia’s bio is definitely suggestive of the fact that things in life are not always what they seem. Today, it was revealed that Fantasia attempted suicide after being found in her home.

According to online reports, Tasia’s hospitalization came just hours after her manager addressed rumors of a sex tape featuring Fantasia and her married boyfriend, Antwaun Cook — which allegedly caused Antwaun’s wife, Paula, to file for divorce.

Fantasia was found in one of the closets in her North Carolina mansion and was said to have overdosed on aspirin and some sort of sleep aid.

Fantasia Barrino was admitted to a Charlotte, NC hospital following? an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid on Monday night, her manager Brian Dickens confirmed to UsMagazine in a statement.

“Her injuries are not life threatening,” Dickens says of the singer, 26. “She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time,” he adds, noting that Barrino is now “stable. She will be released from the hospital soon.”

“Fantasia is heartbroken and is sorry for any pain she may have caused,” he adds. “Yesterday, she was totally overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention.”

Fantasia’s father, Joseph Barrino told RadarOnline.com that she’s recovering from the episiode and is doing fine:

“Fantasia is stable now.? She will be released from the hospital soon,” continued the manager. “Fantasia is a fighter and a survivor. This is not the hardest thing Fantasia has endured. Fantasia will be stronger, smarter, and better for it. Her work has always inspired her and served as a source of strength.”

The hospital soon determined that Fantasia’s accidental overdose was actually an attempted suicide, which comes on the heels of all the drama surrounding her relationship with a married man.
