100806 Atlanta — Recording artist Ciara on the red carpet for a VIP reception prior to the main event during which Usher, Ciara and Justin Bieber performed and presented World Leadership Awards to eight honorees, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010.
Usher, Ciara and Justin Bieber performed in honor of Usher’s New Look Foundation’s first World Leadership Awards. The foundation, which mentors young people “to be global leaders” (according to the website’s “About” page), honored eight individuals and organizations during the night. Honorees included former U.S. president Bill Clinton.
