MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) ? Isaac Hayes, the pioneering singer, songwriter and musician whose relentless “Theme From Shaft” won Academy and Grammy awards, died Sunday, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said. He was 65.
A family member found Hayes unresponsive near a treadmill and he was pronounced dead about an hour later at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, according to the sheriff’s office. The cause of death was not immediately known.

Hot couple Nelly & Ashanti were spotted in Houston this weekend at TJ’s DJ’s Tastemakers/DJ’s Music Conference. ?Bun B and his wife Queen were also spotted in the crowd. ?Ashanti was looking homegirl cute as usual but I guess she didn’t get the memo about black shirts and flashes. ?The photographer definitely knew what was up and chose not to warn Shanti about her peek-a-boo boobies. ?I wonder if Nelly’s as pissed about these as he was about the Body Tap flix?

I just woke up to?the horrible news that Bernie Mac died this morning after suffering through pnumonia.? The Actor/Comedian, (born Bernard Jeffrey McCullough), was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and details are sketchy at this time.?Mac was 50 years old.?I?was so hoping that this was another death rumor, but apparently it’s not.? The Chicago Tribune just posted?an article about his death.?My heart goes out to the McCullough family and I’m sure the entire entertainment world is reeling right about now.
