Since her 2008 divorce, the Atlanta bred actress, best known as Whitley from the sitcom “A Different World,” had been spotted getting her groove back with a much younger companion.

While younger male model boos may be a great distraction, times are hard and Jasmine still has a child to raise. Now she’s headed to the west coast to recoup her dough!

Guy recently filed documents in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming her ex- husband Terrence Mitchell Duckett — who she divorced in 2008 — was ordered by a judge to pay $1,469/month in child support for the couple’s daughter.
According to TMZ, Guy says Duckett hasn’t paid a single dime since May 2010 and now he owes her a whopping $39,663 in back support.
Guy filed the docs because she wants a judge to hold her ex in contempt of court so that she can collect on the debt by garnishing his wages, going after his assets, or even having him thrown in jail.
A hearing on the matter was scheduled for last month, but was cancelled because Jasmine was unable to serve her ex with the papers.
Sources close to Jasmine tell TMZ the actress is still attempting to serve the papers, so the hearing can be rescheduled.
Jasmine’s attorney, Lisa West (who also coincidentally represents Tameka Foster Raymond), issued the following statement:
Both parents have the financial responsibility of rearing a child. Jasmine has always met and will continue to meet her financial responsibility.
She, however unfortunately, finds herself in the same position as are many single mothers in this country — she must enforce her child’s right to benefit from the financial assets of both parents.

Wow, look at the pretty light skin girl that everyone wanted. LOL. The dark skin girls were basically in her shadow on the show, now they are better looking than the beauty. LOL. Black doesn’t crack, can’t say the same for light skin.
Jasmine was the actress/singer/dancer with the most experience on the show, that’s why she was the lead cast member. Also, she was about 27 playing a 19 year old so she’s older in real life than we think…y everyone so mean today
