They say that life deals you a hand and you’re forced to play with the cards you’re dealt… well Whitfield is playing high stakes poker as the legendary “housewife” was in court yet again battling the same attorney’s who repossessed her Aston Martin a few years back!

In court proceeds that began earlier this week, Sheree is defending herself against allegations that she NEVER PAID her attorneys during the divorce.
Whitfield apparently owes quite a bit of dough to the now defunct lawfirm of Weinstock & Scavo and while they are no longer in business as a firm, they still want the legal fees owed to them.
Back in 2010 the firm filed suit against both Sheree AND Bob seeking to satisfy the debt. They reportedly included her ex-husband in the deal because of a settlement deal reached between the two AFTER she fired them as her attorneys.
The settlement reportedly stipulated that each party was responsible for paying their own attorney’s fees out of the monies received in a sale, however Sheree didn’t pay hers, and Weinstock claims she (and Bob) intentionally ignored a lien on the property that was in place to ensure their payment.

Fast forward to Sheree being filmed ballin out of control on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and flossin in her Aston Martin back in 2011. The firm promptly sent out the local sheriff’s department to pick up the luxury vehicle in order to satisfy her debt of over $100,000 in legal fees.

Sheree learned her lesson and hides her Porsche very well each night… BUT Chateau Sheree’ could be next up on the chopping block.
The house is just just about done, but Sheree is fighting to prove that the house isn’t hers (hence it being in her mother’s name) and the financials are rumored to be handled by an Atlanta independent record label owner.
My friend FunkyDineva always reminds everyone… “You never tear a person down without extending a hand to lift them up,” with that being said, I’d like to offer this bit of encouraging news Sheree’s fans.

Well as much as Sheree gets on my nerves and as fake as I find her to be I have to somewhat give her credit for rehabilitating her financial situation. She lost the Aston Martin but replaced it with a porsche. She lost her home, moved into some rentals and now Chateau Sheree is near completion and in her mother’s name. Plus she earned a nice salary on RHOA.
As for the law firm suing her, I find it suspect that they are no longer in business. Perhaps they did not adequately represent Sheree. I’ve been through that myself and had to skip payment and fire an attorney who was secretly siding with my ex and giving him the low down on my every move.
All attorneys aren’t good and competent attorneys and therefore are not deserving of the payment they demand. I hope she didn’t totally burn the bridge with Phaedra because at least Phaedra knows people in the legal field.
I would agree with you but sometimes we play victim to our own stupidity. Sheree could have turned her whole life around with those housewives checks but instead of investing in her children’s future, she chose to buy expensive purses and shoes. Has she ever once tried to go back to school or invest in a business (besides shit by sheree) that would carry her and her kids in case the show didn’t work out? All signs point to NO so unless she is sure that someone (Bob) is going to pay her living expenses from here to eternity she should have been making plans.

Isnt that what MOST bloggers do though? I am so confused as to why people think that this chick should be off limits because of who she is and who she was once married to. I feel like this the shame IS the person putting themselves out there to be a topic on ANY site. She was on a REALITY show that she signed up for to gain a profit. Unfortunately we live in a world where people judge all the time…dont want to be judged dont put your business out there. She got paid for "being down" at one point and didnt care who knew it or saw it…that’s reality. We wouldnt even know who she was had SHE not put her and her family on the show.
What I can’t understand is why is Sheree so adverse to making a fitness video? I for one would definitely purchase it. That woman has a body that most young people would kill for and it seems that "fitness" comes natural to her, it’s her thing. Perhaps even her gift, why not share that instead of trying to play rich? Sheree owes a lot of money to many different creditors. That is the worst kind of broke. That means if and when she does get a job and some income, all of it is going to someone else until she gets caught up. As for me, I purchase what I can afford. I pay my credit card bills off (all the way to $0.00) before the statement comes and the only person I owe money to is the bank who financed the purchase of my midsize standard vehicle. I can’t afford a Birkin bag, but I got a couple Coach bags and that’s fine with me. Right now I’m stacking my savings account so that if anything unexpected happens I can survive. That’s my status, and it’s certainly better than Sheree’s. If you don’t think so, you better go take a class in economics.

I think with the financial problems Sheree is having, even Bravo cannot pretend to ignore them. What kind of story lines can she have when everything she tried to pass off as her business or her success has failed? Also, the fans of the show are much more aware of her actual status and the RHO franchise is not about poor people with rich friends. As much as I love scoop, something about the way Michelle writes about Sheree is unsettling and almost fanatical. Yes, most blogs talk trash, but this is singed with something more sinister like a vendetta or deep envy or low self esteem. When Sheree decided she wanted to be a celebrity then she also agreed to take all the mess that comes with celebrity status. She is in no way off limits. If bloggers can talk about Will Smith and Jada supposedly being swingers and bisexual and if bloggers can dog John Travolta for supposedly sexually harrassing masseuses and if bloggers can talk about "who is more bitchin" with regard to fashions worn by celebs then I see no reason why bloggers can’t talk about Sheree. I mean it’s a court case and those are open to the public anyway. If Sheree doesn’t want to see her name on the internet then maybe she should shut down her web page.

to me, this is a classic case of what happens when you sell your soul to be on these "reality" shows…just for the sake of being famous. i have never cared for Sheree from jump since the 1st season of RHOA debuted. she portrayed herself as this fabulous Atlanta socialite that seriously had it going on. she was starting this clothing line (low-budget version Baby Phat), and had a staff of several people that catered to her every whim. remember the scene (from the 1st season) when she went shopping with her assistant, and her infamous quote: "budget…what budget? i don’t shop on a budget…", then proceeded to pay with her Bank of America atm debit card (really?). people should’ve known right there she was whack (wiggity wiggity), because if she was as fabulous as she was claiming…shouldn’t she had been using an Amex (green, gold, platinum, or black [if you really are high rolling]). not going to even mention the fashion show with no fashions *in Dwight Eubanks’ voice*.
throughout that entire 1st season while making it her mission to appear as fabulous as she did, she also went out of her way to show how busted Nene was (am i lying?). even in the 2nd season when we all found out her house got foreclosed on, she had to down-size into a smaller home, and Kim blew her up on Ellen about bouncing checks and returning stuff at Neiman Marcus…there was a little hope for her when she apologized to Nene for being a friend to her, but that didn’t last long, because she (and her homegirl at that time who was desperately trying to be on the show) just couldn’t stop making little snide remarks about homegirl behind her back.
3rd season, when she "purchased" that Aston Martin, decorated her older daughter’s (who we didn’t know existed until the 3rd season) apartment, and finally the debut of She by Sheree. can’t forget that "doctor" that she dated, and who was the one that had her back and blew him up to her (wait for it…) Nene, and Sheree (and her friends) still kept saying slick mess about her behind her back.
i’m not going to go into a recap of the 4th season, but i will say this…she knew her time was running short, and i don’t care who you are, or who you like or don’t like on the show–it was obvious that she was being coached from the sideline by the producers, and then to bring up Nene’s son at the reunion show (how her desperation showed), and she kept tripping all over her words…especially when she tried throw Phaedra and Kandi under the bus.
this is a woman who has built her house on sand (so to speak). she along with some of her fellow cast members and a few others from other reality shows try so hard to be something and pass themselves off that they’re clearly not when they get on these shows. i visit this site from time to time, and i read some of the venomous comments said about Nene whenever a story is done up here; however, many of you fail to realize that Nene was real and nothing but real from the 1st season (it was touch and go during the 2nd, but she got her act together). that is why people were drawn to her, that is why she rules that show (and if she left, no one would watch). Real recognize real, and that’s why Nene’s star is continuing to rise while Sheree is hambonin’ toe tappin’ and shuckin’ and jivin’ to get out of paying people the money she owes them.
like others up here before me have stated, i take no pleasure in seeing Sheree going through what she is going through. you have to remember though…her current situation(s) are of her own making, and just like Oprah stated on her final show…"the negative energy you focus on me, will rebound on you and hit you deep in the core of where you live." let this be a lesson to you boys and girls.

@i’mjustsayin’ I think you may have made a mistake win reference to credit vs debit. AMEX cards are like any other credit cards, they allow for people to live beyond their means and accumulate debt. Debits cards mean that the person is spending their actual money. I don’t get how you would think that Sheree was a fake because she used a debit card from Bank of America, an actual high rate big bank.
