Kile, whose father is Atlanta TV executive Ryan Glover, suffered a critical brain injury and was unresponsive when pulled from the lake following the mid afternoon crash which occured on July 6th.
It had been reported that Kile was brain dead and that doctors felt that a full recovery was unlikely.
While earlier reports suggested that that Kile was taken off life support, it was later clarified by the family that Kile died of heart failure.
According to WSBTV,
A family friend told Channel 2 Action News the stepson of singer Usher Raymond died of heart failure on Saturday morning, approximately two weeks after he got hurt in a Lake Lanier accident.
A friend of the child’s family had earlier reported that Kile was taken off life support but later clarified that the child died of heart failure.
Funeral arrangements have not been disclosed, but will be reportedly handled by Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home, who declined to provide any additional immediate information.
Kile’s big brother Ryan posted the following tribute in his honor, stating:

I hate this. I was just praying for him about 2 hours before I heard the news. I don’t know why things like this happen; I don’t think we’ll ever be able to comprehend. But I do know that our comprehension is not a prerequisite for God’s doing.
I am so heavy-hearted for Tameka, his father, and his siblings. Usher’s older boy is at the age where he’ll have some understanding of death, and as father he’s really going to have to be there for BOTH of them, to try and help them understand as much as they can. I will continue to keep them in my prayers daily. God bless you, Tameka.

This is the 1st “media” post that I have seen where Usher wasn’t in the “spotlight” concerning this precious life that was lost. Thank you for that, a mother has lost her son, & they need your prayers regardless of what happened before the accident. Praying for Tameka’s family & also the Glover family!

There was no need for anyone to make the decision to end life support and take this young mans life in their hands. The decision was made and he went home. I can understand where you’re coming from; people are quick to send condolences to him with no mention of Ryan Glover. That bothers me. It also bothers me that after the divorce Usher distanced himself from his step children because he didn’t want to be bothered by Tameka (I base this opinion on the fact that I’ve never seen pics of him with his step children post divorce). However, I’m sure that his decision to do that is tearing him up right now. Plus, as father to her two youngest children, he has a responsibility to help them understand and deal with their brother’s death. He was the closest to them in age, which means he was probably closest to them period. That was the point I was trying to make earlier. Cinco may understand somewhat better than Naviyd, but it will be a challenge.
These are the things GOD was moving on..he used Kiles physical presence for as long as he could to soften some hearts, strengthen a fews faith, and last but not least teach them how to love every bit of a persons being when they are here with you.

@ the time Kyle was found to be Brain Dead was the time of his death. On his death certificate that is the date of his expiration here on earth and what will be listed. Being in a coma or vegetative state is very different from being Brain dead and the only reason the heart continues to beat after brain death is do to life support machinery it could technically beat for awhile on its own without life support, but without the functioning brain it would eventually stop beating altogether. As time passes by even if on Life Support all the vital organs begin to fail,shut down and decay,because unfortunately "NOBODY" ever comes back from the brain dying it controls the life force which is you. That’s why all head injuries are serious and people have to be more careful accidents will always happen as long as there are negligent people,but many are avoidable. I wish peace and comfort to the family at this time especially his parents & siblings whom loved him so. Kyle was a bright star from what I’ve seen of him over the internet a happy, intelligent, loving young boy with a unique personality who would have accomplished great things later on in life. Death is a part of life and none of us are promised to live to be a ripe old age no matter who you are or how much money you have no man,woman or child can escape death!!! But please don’t blame God these things must take place,but we are all promised another chance later,but you gotta have the faith of a mustard grain seed to receive the gift of everlasting life. When you lose a loved one of course you ask why,but you really need to seek out the answers to find the TRUTH! This whole weekend was a death sentence. First the Colorado shooting, my nephew’s friend died after being shot coming from a party and minding her business and now this? My heart aches. I just can’t!

I lost my son 4 months ago in car accident so I know the pain in she is feeling. My heart aches for her. The one thing that bothers me is when people post things like "God don’t like ugly." as if she is being punished for going thru an ugly divorce. That’s a horrible thing to say. Oh my! My condolences to you and your family Tina . I lost my brother in law who was like a brother to me 4 months ago to… he died in his sleep and my sister found him dead when she got up and thought it was strange that he was not getting up to go to church. It rocked myself and my family to the core! We got strength from the fact that he knew Jesus Christ and he is now in a better place.
