Fast forward a few years and a few reality shows later and you’ll find that Toya is no longer the single mother of a popular rappers child.
She’s now Toya Wright, a happily married mom and step-mom, successful clothing boutique owner, a NY Times best-selling author, hair gel spokesperson and so much more.
Toya was once the star of her own reality show, but now it seems she may be vying for a different spot… on a different show!

I was the first to announce that Marko Marlo Hampton would be joining the cast after being pegged as Lisa Wu-Hartwell (aka Sharon Millette)’s replacement and unfortunately she didn’t make the final cut.

Marlo’s loss could soon be Toya’s gain because with everything Mrs. Wright has accomplished these past few years, she could very well be a shoe in to fill that vacant spot as the NEXT official housewife on The Real Housewives of Atlanta! (and she’s actually a WIFE! imagine that!?)
RHOA has been in town for quite a few weeks now casting for the upcoming 5th season of the show.
Quite a few people have put their name in the hat and several home and office interviews have been conducted for the newest addition to the show.
Interviewees included the likes of Nicci Gilbert (Brownstone), Tanya Rodriguez (wife of Atlanta radio personality Frank Ski),
RHOA casting even reached out to moi for a bit of input (I guess I’m considered somewhat an expert now 
) but names I threw out that I’d wanna see like: Monyetta Show (Ne-Yo‘s baby mama), Marjorie Harvey (Steve Harvey’s wife), Tameka Foster Glover Raymond (Usher’s ex), and Sherlita Patton (Big Boi’s wife) were clearly more on my radar than theirs. But such is life…
Several of my inside sources have confirmed that Toya, a friend of current “housewives” Phaedra Parks (who worked with Toya on The Tiny & Toya Show) and Kandi Burruss (with whom Toya recently partnered with in a fitness campaign), is a front runner on the list.

I would like to make one small but vital correction. Taya is Wayne ex-wife. And yes it matters, even to her as she pointed that difference on her show. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
I vote Tameka Raymond or Monyetta. Toya has already done the TV thing and personally I think she is boring. Tameka and Monyetta would be new, fresh meat!

Marjorie Harvey is the only one mentioned besides Toya I would watch. She is a true blue character. She still got her teeth in Steve’s neck. Toya would make the show interesting.
Of all the people you mentioned Tameka Foster would be who I’d like to see because most if the others don’t have a recognizable name outside Atl. Monyetta Shaw is kool but I doubt that Neyo would want her to do the show considering that he himself hasn’t established that they are in love. I’m sure Nicci, Sherlita, Marjorie and Tanya are great women but they would be my plan B if the ones I really want fell through. Toya is great too but RHOA needs someone that will keep them #1 in franchise history. Eventually Nene and ‘nem will get tired of each other and the drama so a new storyline will need to be introduced. None of the women mentioned will hold that down…except Tameka. I don’t agree with alot of what Tameka has posted, published and tweeted but I can guarantee that she won’t be boring. Can we get someone on RHOA who’s wealthy, opinionated, affiliated, educated and…… What about Helen or Stormy from AMC?

Toya is too nice. Her shows were more positive and inspirational, while RHOA might bring out the "real Toya", I’m thinking I don’t want to see that in her. I hate Marlo acted such a fool. I really think she could have been an extreme Housewife and provided lots of laughs. (Marlo:Sheree you want me to loan you some money? I’ll loan you some money!) We need drama, excitement, lowdown dirtiness. That is not Toya.

Toya doesn’t need this show, it would be like taking a huge step back. Besides she’s a little too "dignified" for the crap some of these ladies try. RHOA already has 3 genuinely nice ladies: Phaedra, Kandi and Cynthia. RHOA needs someone who is nice but can really get with you…if you deserve it (NeNe & Sheree). TAMEKA RAYMOND would be great. Definitely get Sheree out of there and let her go apply for a real job somewhere. It’s time. And absolutely not to Toya as a replacement. I don’t have much against her, but she would not fit in with the RHOA cast and it would be a detriment to the show to add her. To me, she represents that ‘hood-rich’ category of entertainers. While there may be some perpetratin cast members on RHOA, the show is not intended to showcase ghetto-fabulousness.

Toya is a pretty face that was on the starting train of Lil Wayne’s "career" that’s her claim to fame, big woo! Besides for Cynthia, Phaedra and Kandi, all these broads are non factors. We all know that Tameka would be the top choice and viewers would tune in to see her and hear the drama with her and Usher.
Toya and Memphitz aren’t really well known so if Bravo was going for celebrity status they are making a not so wise choice. Plus there is the whole speech impediment thing. We all know Toya’s diction is horrid.
