
The two joined forces to launch Gaga’s ‘Born This Way Foundation,’ which will be aimed at empowering young people.
Gaga’s empowerment organization will address such issues as self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development through research, education and advocacy.
“The culture of love is not going to change overnight but youth are the answer to creating a braver, kinder world,” said Lady Gaga. “This might be one of the best days of my life.”

Oprah arrives… and gives a ‘thumbs up’ to the paparazzi.
Gaga, who reportedly made a $1.2 million personal contribution to the foundation, addressed a panel that included Oprah Winfrey, spiritual leader Deepak Chopra, LGBT parent and spouse David Burtka, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, and an E! News Correspondent.
