The popular Atlanta had formerly been plagued with health inspection issues but it continued to thrive as an Atlanta hotspot known for industry parties and private get-togethers.
Straits is closing it’s doors for good and Luda, who now parks his private jet alongside billionaires, plans to take his money and run towards the airport with a new venture involving chicken & beer.

According the the AJC Buzz,
Ludacris is ending his nearly four-year run as a Midtown restaurateur, pulling up the stakes at Straits to focus on a new venture at Atlanta-Hartsfield International Aiport.
Ludacris made the decision to close Straits after winning a contract to open a new restaurant — Chicken N Beer — at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport with Atlanta Restaurant Partners.
The airport’s concession contracts were approved Tuesday in a marathon City Council meeting.
Fans may recognize the name of Luda’s new eatery… inspired from his 2003 album of the same name. He plans to serve comfort food and craft beers using locally grown ingredients.
As I continue to learn and evolve as a businessman, I am extremely excited to put my restaurateur footprint into a new venture inside the busiest international airport in the United States, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport,
Straits was a great segue into the industry and with Chicken N Beer I can create my own concept. I look forward to expanding my creativity and driving.

Dang! I didn’t even get a chance to go. I would always put it off..oh, well. I will frequent his restaurant in the ATL airport though. Now that’s a good look because the selection of restaruants suck! Good looking out, Luda!

If a restaurant is successful, than why close the doors just to open a new one? I fail to understand the logic of his decision. His reason for closing Straits is not cogent enough.
Good success is congruent with addition not subtraction. According to google.com, Luda is worth 60 million dollars; so I know he is doing good, per se.
But why put an assiduous effort into a venture and then shut it down, if it is successful?
