Last night, Bravo basically gave Sheree her own episode of the show, revealing much about her and her spending habits. Sheree showed up at Phaedra Parks‘ house in a brand new Porsche, while cameras revealed she didn’t even have furniture in her 2 bedroom apartment.
Phaedra had a bit of trouble obtaining her funds from Sheree, but ended up representing her in court while Bob appeared sitting alone as his own attorney.
He watched and gave his two cents about the episode during a phone call the other day….

While watching this season of The Rea Housewives Of Atlanta, we were CONFUSED. MediaTakeOut.com was consistently CONFUSED .. . as to WHY Sheree isn’t getting ANY child support. And we were even more CONFUSED as to why Sheree DIDN’T ALLOW Phaedra to enforce the Child Support ORDER against her ex-husband BOB WHITFEILD . . . and have his AZZ THROWN IN JAIL.
Well, we did some research, and uncovered some SHOCKING documents. We found a LEGAL PROCEEDING from two years ago, which shows that Sheree attempted to DEFRAUD her ex-husband out of their mansion.
Here’s what happened. When Sheree and Bob got divorced, the court ordered them to SELL the house, split the proceeds. And for Bob to give Sheree $425K in additional cash.
The way it was supposed to work is that Bob would pay her $25K up front, and the other $400K once they sold the house. Well Sheree TRICKED Bob, and asked him if he could give her the $400K early, so that she could get a home for their children.
And after Bob gave her the money, Sheree filed MULTIPLE lawsuits, and refused to leave the house or pay the mortgage. Eventually the bank foreclosed on the house, and Bob lost ALL the equity he had in the home.

SOOOOO . . . . according to the docs, the court ADMONISHED Sheree for her behavior. And it suggested that she may OWE Bob a ton of money, for F*CKING up his equity in the house.
And we’d bet that if she tried to get the money for her CHILD SUPPORT from Bob, he’d COUNTER-SUE her and she’d have to pay him the money she SCAMMED from him first. (source)

I don’t understand why she tore down a perfectly good house if she’s having money problems. Instead of paying rent, she could have lived for free at her mother’s house – I read that the house torn down was actually paid for by her mother. I just don’t get it. I don’t agree with that because when the other parent of your children says they need to do something for your children, you think it’s on the up and up. And just so you know, I’m a single parent myself of a grown son whose father didnt pay, and quit his job when I had his check garnished. To this day he cant get a drivers license or a business license in the State I live in. But my mom told me and my sisters when we were growning up, and it didnt matter if we were married or unmarried; she said never have more children than you can bear the thought of raising alone, cause you just dont know what the future holds. And so I knew when I divorced my sons father that he was probably not going to do the right thing – he didnt do the right thing while we were married, so why change now? I spent many a day in kicked over heels so that my son could have shoes or whatever else he needed. I learned how to do my own nails and hair so I wouldnt look a total hot mess, and most importantly I went from making $15,0000 a year to making over six figures a year because I was determined to make it for my son. So please dont get it twisted, I’m not saying that I agree with the way Bob is handling things but I sure as hell understand why. I know what a deadbeat dad looks like cause I was married to one. A deadbeat dad does not write his ex-wife a $400,000 check that he doesnt have to. And he didnt take her to court over misusing the money. First of all Attorneys take cash all the time, everybody doesn’t wire money or accept potentially bouncing checks. I saw a Attorney take $700 in cash from client at the ATM last week for a child custody case. So it happens more often than you think. Whats worse a drug dealer’s cash or a drug dealer’s money order. You a effing fool if you "feel" there is a difference. Sheree’ knows damn well the LAW is not on a Black Man’s side so I believe those court docs show how she embezzled that money from Bob. She don’t want to send him to jail because she knows some sh|t will hit the fan about her wrong doings. Nothings gonna happen to "Chateau Sheree". It will still be built but it’s her mother’s house.If she has no siblings this will probably be the only sane move she’s made(that is if she ‘s contributing to the cost).She and her kids would inherit it…but then again,if she has any outstanding debts she’ll lose that too.
So what does this have to do with child support? He is still liable for taking care of his kids. This is a separate issue from child support, just like alimony is separate from child support. I’m in no way team Sheree. If this is true then shame on her but this man still needs to take care of his kids.The 400K(for the house) he was ordered to give her anyway outside of the child support. Did you actually READ the court document? It states that SHEREE said she put the money in an account and deducted support payments every month, so tell me again how he isn’t paying child support? Why is Sheree running around with Lawrence and is that who she wants her son to emulate. Sheree is a social path and is in need of serious help. I don’t think Bob has a problem with taking care of his children, but it is apparent he hates Sheree with a passion. Sheree kids are unkept, lonely and sad. She is doing that to them on purpose. Regardless of what man does a strong woman takes care of her kids. Sheree was not honest with her husband, Pheadra, any of the other attorneys and friends, but most of all she is not honest with herself.
I think I see why Bob went into foreclosure. He planned to sell the house & split the proceeds according to the court decree. Instead, (all of this is allegedly) Sheree kept the house in litigation with multiple lawsuits so that he probably couldn’t sell the house; expected Bob to keep paying mortgage payments while she refused to move out; & would take fixtures out of it that weren’t hers; etc. She probably thought that possession was 9/10 of the law. So, Bob probably figured that the only way to escape from all the constant lawsuits, the attorneys’ fees becoming equal to or larger than the equity in that house, & the continuing years of familial trauma was just to walk away from the house, put it into foreclosure, & let the bank (& the sheriffs) deal with Sheree. That way there was nothing left for Sheree to keep suing over.
Sheree also said that Bob retired early so that she couldn’t garnish his wages. I guess Bob didn’t want to be sued by her every year of his life so long as he had a really good income coming in. Poor Bob. He had to get rid of a good income & a valued property or else be faced with constant lawsuits.
If Sheree hadn’t been so greedy, she would have let Bob sell the house, showed the courts that he had hundreds of thousands of dollars in assets, put some of that in a trust for child support payments, like she said she did for support payments with some of the $400k Bob paid her in advance. Also, he would have continued to have a well-paying career, which would have helped towards paying college tuitions for the kids (if Sheree’s statement about the reason for his retiring is correct).
In the documents, it shows that $750k had to be paid by 11/15/07, which is what I think Bob had to give to Sheree. So she might have gotten far more than the $425k.
If Sheree had played it smart, she would have been living rent-free in her mother’s house (the one Sheree had torn down because she said she couldn’t live in a used house) & had $425k-$750k in the bank plus child support from Bob, although as another commentator pointed out, since they have joint custody, why would Bob have to pay child support in the 1st place?

I am so glad Phaedra called her out on her BS re failure to pay retention fee… sheree doesn’t get that court filings, etc cost money and to wait until the day before the court hearing to give Phaedra 2k would require Phaedra to cover the cost as these things have to be paid in advance (usually). I am a big fan of the Housewives franchise, especially these Southern Bells from Atlanta. It is plain to the naked eye that Phaedra, Kandi and just recently NeNe (new money) Leekes are all doing very well for themselves. The rest are just reality show nobodies hoping and praying for a big break by appearing on the show. Sheree, get a clue. You can ‘t sing, design, act or dance, and you’re too old and muscular to be a model like Cynthia, so just get a day job like the rest of us stiffs and stop trying to keep up with NeNe, Kandi and Phaedra. You broke girl!
The truth is child support is child support with NO connection to what the parent’s action or inaction. Children. Visitation. Child Support. Health Insurance. Property. Debts. All separate issues. The children need a roof over their heads, a refrigerator to keep their food, electricity to stay cool, heat to stay warm, food to eat, extracurricular activates and the fees for them, uniforms for sports, shoes, tennis should, dresses, pants, jeans, tshirts, underwear, hygenic products, hair cuts, gasoline for the car (regardless of the type of car it is) to be transported to school, church, doctor, dentist, friends, parties and other places. Providing for he children’s needs is not and is never connected to the actions of the parents.
The non-custodial parent does not have the obligation, responsibility of caring for these everyday needs. The non-custodial parent should not get away with not paying child support. That is a crime! And Sheree should put him in jail to grab his attention to show him that regardless of whether he cares of his children, he still HAS TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT!! PERIOD!
EXCUSE THE TYPOS – I GET RILED WHEN PEOPLE WANT TO EXCUSE THE MOM OR DAD FROM PAYING CHILD SUPPORT BECAUSE OF WHAT ONE PARENT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE DONE TO THE OTHER. CHILDREN HAVE TO BE RAISED. CHILDREN HAVE TO BE SUPPORTED. CHILDREN ARE THE INNOCENTS. THEY SHOULD NOT BE PENALIZED FOR SOMETHING THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OVER OR EFFECT ON. TOO MANY PEOPLE GET SO CAUGHT UP IN THE "DRAMA" THAT THEY FORGET THE CHILDREN.

Here are the terms of their divorce settlement:
In the initial settlement, the court granted Sheree the following.
A Lump sum of 775,000 USD
A yearly amount of 113,422 USD from the retirement funds of Bob
A monthly child support of 2,142.87 USD
No spousal support
The Georgia Supreme Court asked Sheree and her children to vacate the residence in Sandy Springs, GA (this is to the north of Atlanta), that is estimated at 2.6 million USD
Sheree was awarded primary custody of the 2 children who were aged 8 and 11 at the time of the divorce

The court awarded Bob almost all the real estate (inclusive of 4 homes) as well as the recording studio “Patchwerks”. This studio was established by Bob.
In the divorce there is only one ‘support’ obligation and that is ‘Child Support’. She is not entitled to spousal support.
In essence she and her attorneys have said ‘to the courts’ that she was holding the upfront $400,000.00 payment in an account and withdrawing his ‘support obligations from it’ remember,,, there is ONLY ONE SUPPORT OBLIGATION. These are Sheree’s words and not Bob’s.
Here is the kicker… the reason that Sheree did/said this (she and her legal team are the ones who mixed the child support and the house purchasing monies) is that otherwise she would have gotten more than an admonishment from the courts from her fraudulent actions against the acts of good faith that her ex exhibited. I’m really having a hard time seeing this guy as a deadbeat.

Bob did what he did FOR the children. He gave the upfront 400k so that the children could have a new home. Their MOTHER is the one who caused this to occur. How dare you ladies bash Bob for this?
Let’s do some quick math. The kids were 8 and 11 when Bob and Sheree split. Assuming that he pays child support until they are each 18 years old then he would have to pay 10 years worth of child support. His Child Support obligation is 2,142.87 per month. 2,142.87 x 12 months x 10 years = $257,144.40. He GAVE her $400,000.00 UP FRONT! The man that you all are calling a dead beat OVERPAID to the tune of nearly 150K. GTFOH!!!
