Now… just hours after announcing she had filed for divorce from the megachurch pastor Vanessa Long has issued ANOTHER statement today (December 2, 2011) saying she’s had a change of heart and had withdrawn her petition.
Read Mrs. Long’s NEW statement below…
“
Upon prayerful reflection, I have reconsidered and plan to withdraw my petition for divorce from my husband, Bishop Eddie L. Long,” she said in an emailed statement bearing the New Birth logo. “I love my husband. I believe in him and admire his strength and courage.”
Long’s wife claims that it’s the media to blame for her indecision, citing “years of attacks in the media” for her decision to file for a divorce in the first place…. but we ALL know it was Eddie Long’s checkbook that made her decide to stay.
I told y’all that Kool-aid over at New Birth is legendary. Stay tuned… I’m almost positive this craziness ain’t over yet.

The “publicists” and church “legal team” have gotten to her regarding the daming affects and public perception of her divorce petition. They have offered her a “more than substantial” settlement to withdraw the petition, allowing her to move on with her life without Eddie. SMH…. #letthatwomandowhatsheneedstodo!

“Trick Daddy” Eddie and his “Legal Eagles” have worked out a deal with Mrs. Long. She kept up a good front with that “stand by your man” shit but I knew it wasn’t gonna last long. It is what it is. Hope she comes out alright. Peace.

Maybe irreconcilable requires "proof" in order to get half and not inherit conceiled debt that he may have incurred spending all New Birth’s money to keep those sex tapes from surfacing!?
