Young Jeezy covers the August 2008 issue of Vibe magazine and it’s his first Vibe cover ever!? Jeezy talked about meeting Republican Presidential candidate, John McCain and also took a moment to?clarify his “relationship” with Keyshia Cole and suprised all by stating that it was Keyshia who bought the ring and popped the question! 😯

??We?re definitely not together. We hung out? She cool, [but] to be honest, it was more what she wanted?

Keyshia asked me to marry her, bought me a ring and everything. She?s not gonna tell you different. I was grown enough to tell her, ?Look baby, that isn?t what it is right now. We can hang out as much as you want to. But I?m private. I?m personal.??

Young Jeezy also discusses an encounter with Republican presidential hopeful John McCain on the set of NBC?s Saturday Night Live.

?The fact that he acknowledged me was crazy. I said, ?I?m Young Jeezy, and it?s rough out here.? He blew me off at first. I was like, ?Nah, for real. It?s rough out here, so what you gonna do to change it?? He was basically saying he?s gonna do what needs to get done. I?ll take that. I like Barack, but at the same time I wanted to see what McCain was talking about? I?ma be real ? [president is] a hard job for anybody. You wanna see [brothers] killin? [brothers], you give [us] four more years of this.?
