Gay Rapper Tell-All Book No Suprise to Hip-Hop Heads

Former MTV executive, Terrance Dean is creating quite a stir on these mean internet streets. Apparently, Mr. Dean has written a tell-all documenting his life as a closeted homosexual working in the film and music industry and his relationships with other closeted homosexuals, which include popular film stars, rap artists, and music producers entitled HIDING IN HIP-HOP: Confessions of a Down Low Brother in the Entertainment Industry.
Dean says he won’t name names (I assume for fear of his life)…but that hasn’t stopped the net from speculating. Check out this review of the book I came across today when I left the hood and ventured into the internet suburbs:
Obviously Kanye West and Diddy will get a mention. Anyone who thinks West likes the women need just listen to his lyrics. Sure, they’re laden with vaginal-love, but we all know the saying, “The lady doth protest too much.” As for Diddy. Two words: Fonzworth Bentley.
We suspect Dean will inspect Jay-Z’s closet, and Ne-Yo, who has repeatedly denied, yet embraced rumors, may make an appearance. Our black pal Lauren Williams, who edits sister site Stereohyped, suggested that Russell Simmons can expect some queer questioning. That makes sense: only a homo could stand marring Kimora Lee, who’s one of the most mannish, obnoxious women in history. And that’s why we love her.
Bow Wow and Omarion should also expect the lavender limelight. They have, after all, been rumored lovers in the past. And, in a surprise suggestion, Williams pegged Busta Rhyme. Why? Because he’s so homophobic. You know how those anti-gays love their butt sex.
Oh, and we’d be disappointed if Queen Latifah doesn’t get a little scandalous love… (Source)
Well…somebody needs to tell all them ”DL” brothers that they aren’t really hiding anything! Who do you think will be “outed” in the book??

why?! What’s the purpose of this?!
A shot on Oprah maybe? If dude isn’t going to name names then to me he’s just out to make a quick buck. Look at the video Vixon. She at least named some of her encounters.
Another thing I am so sick of are these so called DL guys. Child, whatever! I’m quite sure if I saw him and some of the others, honey I could clock them right off.
DL, cliche, DL, cliche.

April 24, 2008 @ 1:11 pmIf that’s the DL dude that’s on the cover of the book then you can see him from that profile a mile away and he looks pretty dawm *** to me. He does look like one of my sista’s and I’m sure on a daily bases he’s probably exploding with gayness.
I’m not talking about the NFL football player who make’s money off of endorsements because he’s **** kind but the two snap’s up kind.
I ain’t haten though. If dude can write a book even though he isn’t naming names without getting the **** beat out of him then work it out.
