Not only is funny man Mike Epps the host of this year’s BET Hit Hop Awards, he’s also a rapper with a hot new song of his own. Mike recently filmed the video for “Ain’t Chu You” which features Young Dro, Nitti & Dorrough and the song is actually not bad. Mike explained recently that the idea for the song came to mind when he was touring in a small town and someone came up to him and asked “Ain’t Chu You?”…he wrote a few funny lyrics, hit up Nitti for a hot beat and the rest is history.

Tiny held her birthday celebration last night for the first time in years without her boo T.I.? All eyes were on here as it was revealed that Tip made sure his boo was taken care of even while he’s behind bars.? Check out a few flix from Tiny’s birthday celebration last night at Luckie Food Lounge in Atlanta…and men, make a mental note of how to keep your woman happy even when you’re not around:
The queen arrives!

Lil Duval presents Tiny with her first surprise from her boo while Toya looks on.
Wonder what’s in the box??? Check out how Tip does it (even behind bars):
Atlanta was the central celebration location yesterday (June 16th) for what would have been Tupac Shakur’s 38th birthday. The 1st annual Tupac Birthday All-Star Benefit Concert was held at The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Atlanta and his mother, Afeni Shakur & actor/comedian Mike Epps joined forces to honor the fallen rapper.
The unique partnership was created by Epps, who despite juggling a national comedy tour, promotion of the new DVD ?Funny Bidness? and two box-office films, ?Next Day Air? and ?Janky Promoters,? felt honored to interrupt his busy schedule to celebrate the late rapper:
?I?m a long-time fan of Pac?s music. It?s always been the soundtrack for overcoming struggle and when my life was in a desolate place it was his messages that helped bring me through,? says Epps. ?I wouldn?t be where I am today if it wasn?t for his inspiration. It?s an honor for me to stand alongside his mother, Afeni Shakur in celebrating such a personal moment in her son?s history.?
Check out a few flix below:

Check out the newest video from the Grand Hustle camp, Young Dro’s “Take Off” featuring Yung L.A.? The song’s title has taken on a different meaning in light of all that whole Alfamega/snitch controversy.? Lately these A-Town streets have been buzzing about the whole situation. Word on the street is Alfa may have TAKEN OFF…right into the witness protection program:
Now they say once a federal snitch, always a federal snitch. Soon after Alfa?s arrival in Atlanta, certain rappers and industry execs started getting busted by the feds left and right, and no one was the wiser. Especially T.I., who seems to be a very trusting sort. Bless his heart.
Anyway, now that Alfamega?s cover is blown, AHH?s purveyor of gossip, Ill Seed theorizes that the feds had to ghost Alfa out of town expeditiously. So Ill Seed claims the feds concocted a scheme to bust Alfamega publicly so he could go deep under cover into the witness protection program.
I was just having the same conversation the other day. Having grown up here I’ve managed to experience quite a bit. Over the past few years, Atlanta has grown full of “transplants,” a ton of whom tend to make up their history. It’s amazing how people will just “appear” in your circle from God knows where. Not saying that I’ve ever *cough* kicked it with gangsters…but er ummm. Let’s just say them Feds are some sneaky momo’s…
Check out this fresh leak from DJ Drama’s upcoming Gangster Grillz: The Album Vol. 2 entitled “A-Town”. Tip raps about bankhead, MLK & Adamsville while Dro and Sean Paul cover the southside and college park. Dontcha just love all these Atlanta anthems?? Just in time for summer…
Grand Hustle’s Young Dro don’t play when it comes to purple label Polo. Hell, he represents Ralph Lauren to the fullest and even plans on naming his next project P.O.L.O.? Now, I told y’all about shouting out all these companies who don’t give a got-dayum about you…but *sigh* I know somma ya’ll don’t listen. Anywhoo…Dro, always the fashionista, has been rockin a Polo man-bag for a while and I can’t help but wonder what the hell is in it???? I mean….what does a man need a purse for? Hmmmmmm? *scratching head*
I can think of at least 3 things but then I’m stomped. Check out my mini list + the full video of Young Dro and his new producer, Raz, chopping it up with Ms. RiverCity from Ozone Mag below. Get you some. You’ll thank me later… Continue Reading…
