I just spotted this video of Kandi Burress and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle discussing what it would be like to travel into the future and had to post it. In the vid, Tiny says she would love take a secret peek into the future grown lives of her children. Speaking about her daughter having grandkids and visualizing King as a superstar like his daddy. Kandi desires to visit the past for a visit with her brother who passed a year before Xscape got a deal.

At the end yesterday’s episode of Oprah, the talk show host addressed two pressing questions from all of her Twitter People…aka “Tweeple.” First was “Am I tweeting myself or is my assistant writing for me?” and the second was “Am I wearing a weave? Everybody’s like, ‘Oprah, we love your weave.’
She clarified that she is in fact, in charge of her own twitter by stating, “I tweet myself, that’s why you haven’t seen that many tweets. I can’t tweet all day, okay?” Then addressed the weave question via twitter (above) and also on the air with “This is not a weave, this is my hair!”
I always say that a hit dog will hollar, but hey, she may be telling the truth. I just don’t understand what all the hoopla is about if she is.? Anywhoo, check out the photo she displayed on air of herself pre-makeup with her hair unstyled below: *Warning* It ain’t pretty!

The 12th Annual Unsigned Urban Showcase was held at E.S.S.O Nightclub last night. The event was hosted by DJ Khaled and featured performances by the NAS; Trey Songz and more! Popeye’s $4.99 chicken special last week dayum near caused a riot in New York the other day when they ran out chicken during the promotion:
The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle says that the first location to run out was in Rochester, with cars filling the parking lot and spilling out onto the street. Hungry chicken fans then drove to another location, which also ran out of chicken.
“It was quite the promotion,” a shift manager at a local Popeye’s told the paper. “It was phenomenal. We had people trying to place multiple orders. The promotion allowed only one order per person. It got crazy at the end.”
Meanwhile, on Long Island, police were called in after chicken-related traffic started to cause serious problems during rush hour. Eventually, the entrance to the Popeye’s was cordoned off with crime scene tape. (Source)
Dayum! Those New Yorkers were serious about their chicken!! I think the Atlanta locations were smarter and saw all y’all coming cause I haven’t heard of any disgruntled customers round these parts. Don’t act like you weren’t in line over there in West End…. cause I was right behind you! 😆

Grand Hustle’s Young Dro don’t play when it comes to purple label Polo. Hell, he represents Ralph Lauren to the fullest and even plans on naming his next project P.O.L.O.? Now, I told y’all about shouting out all these companies who don’t give a got-dayum about you…but *sigh* I know somma ya’ll don’t listen. Anywhoo…Dro, always the fashionista, has been rockin a Polo man-bag for a while and I can’t help but wonder what the hell is in it???? I mean….what does a man need a purse for? Hmmmmmm? *scratching head*

The object of my lust and affection, Young Jeezy, was spotted chillin in the VIP last night at Luckie Food Lounge. Oh yeah, so were Tip and Tiny, Nassir Jones and his crew and more. There was a whole lot going on in Atlanta last night: the Mike Jones/Bun B/Paul Wall free concert, the Hawks playoff game, the Cavi Mixer at the W. Dayum!? And my “A”zz was stuck at the hospital! *sigh* a story for another day. But after everything died down, most people migrated over to Luckie for Wednesday night’s Investment Club.

Tip was spotted at the Hawks game last night.
I wonder if that was before or after the Hawk got loose?
The game had to be postponed for a while in the first half after Spirit (the mascot) got loose and flew all around the arena. When the players spotted the bird, they refused to go on until the handler could get the birdie in control.<~ wimps! 😆 If that was a tactic, it didn’t really matter….cause the Heat still won (108-93).
