Uncle Luke says he has an issue with the NFL AND Jay-Z!
Veteran Miami rapper Luther Campbell, who was one of the few to defend Jay-Z when he signed a deal with the NFL, is now blaming Jay for the lack of local talent chosen to perform during next year’s Super Bowl LIV halftime show in Miami and he’s started a campaign to spark change.

Old school rap legend Luther ?Uncle Luke? Campbell is certainly not one to hold his tongue!
The former leader of 2 Live Crew, best known ‘booty music’ with raunchy lyrics, recently offered his take on ghostwriting, which led to him blaming the demise of hip hop to a new dating trend… ‘wifin h**s.’
Campbell says the industry has totally changed since he was in it and in a recent interview with WatchLOUD, he gives Kanye West (who famously ‘wifed’ Amber Rose then officially ‘wifed’ Kim Kardashian) props for being a “trendsetting” musical pioneer, stating:
It used to be a difference, before Kanye West, rappers wasn?t wifin? all these h**s. Rappers would be secure with they woman. You look at Ice Cube. He?s always been with is wife. Look at Will Smith. He?s always been with her.
Hip-hop was different. We didn?t get caught up in the Hollywood thing, where, OK rappers are now marrying Hollywood girls, leaving one, going to the next one, leaving this one. We didn?t do that. I mean, we were like real secure. We wasn?t marrying girls or wifin? girls for the Internet to blow up.
It’s totally different nowadays.

The 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards went off without a hitch… well… I mean, besides that ruckus backstage, but that’s besides the point.

Luther Campbell aka Uncle Luke is about to get as “freaky” as he wanna be… on film!
According to a recent press release:
The Sundance Institute selected The Life and Freaky Times of Uncle Luke, a short film starring Miami-based rapper and politician Luther Campbell (Uncle Luke of 2 Live Crew) and produced by Miami?s Borscht Corp. (the organization behind the Borscht Film Festival) in collaboration with Miami production company Rakontur for the 2012 Sundance Film Festival?s Short Film Program.
The Sundance Institute selected only 64 shorts for its Short Film Programs from a record 7,675 world-wide submissions.
Luke notes that he’s honored amongst the chosen few, stating:
?It’s an honor to have a highly respected organization such as the Sundance Film Institute recognize me and my life as an important part of American culture by adding “The Life and Freaky Times of Uncle Luke” to their 2012 line up.?
But wait… if “Freaky Times” actually wins an award at Sundance, it will automatically qualify the film to potentially be an Oscar nominee!!

Thanksgiving 2011, Ryan Cameron played host to his 20th annual Celebrity Bowling Challenge at Stars and Strikes Bowling Center in Stone Mountain.
With bellies filled with Thanksgiving feasts, Atlanta celebs headed out to the lanes to work off all those carbs for a good cause.
Young Jeezy and his TM103 crew were the first to arrive on the scene, followed by Uncle Luke (Luther Campbell), YMCMB’s Lil Chuckee, my boo Antwan “Big Boi” Patton brought out his entire family, and Clifford “T.I.” Harris and his wife Tiny came through with a van filled with family and friends as well.

It’s official… Luther Campbell is running for mayor of Miami-Dade County.
I tried to told ya back in January of this year, but even then I thought it was a joke.? 
In February, Mr. “Nasty as You Wanna Be” revealed his reasons for running and his decision to include a “stripper tax” in his mayoral platform (click HERE if you missed it).
Well if we didn’t believe it before… we HAVE to believe it now.
Last Tuesday, (April 12th) was the deadline for all Miami Mayoral wannabees to file their paperwork to be included on the special election ballot and Uncle Luke was front & center…
