Hometown favs like Akon, Bow-Wow, T.I. joined in on the fun as well as Kevin Liles, Angel Lola Love, Tracey Edmunds and Jay-Z.? Jeezy sported his sexy scruffy look, Jay sported his Louie Scarf and Tip sported his bird chest… 😆 Love it!? TI has a new show and it looks promising. I’ve always thought that we all should take some time and mentor somebody who needs it. Not necessarily have a reality show to film it, but TI sets a good example here for the masses.
As he begins counting down the days to his impending March 2009 sentencing for weapons charges, Grammy-winning superstar T.I. finds himself at a remarkable crossroads. At the very apex of his career, he?s facing up to 30 years of jail time for an arrest stemming from his earlier life. However, as part of a deal worked out between his lawyers and the federal government, if he completes an amazing 1000 hours of community service during the year ending this March, that sentence may be reduced. At 27, finding himself at the very high- and low-point of his adult life, he?s seeking redemption in helping others avoid the mistakes he made. In the new docu-series ?T.I.?s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go? cameras follow T.I.?s efforts to save himself by saving others. ?T.I.?s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go? is a moving title. Each week, the title will change to reflect the amount of time left to his sentencing. The final episode will air shortly after T.I.?s fate is revealed. In order to communicate his message, he has to give each teenager a tough love lesson in life and show them the consequences of what could happen if they continue down the wrong path.
T.I.?s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go? will premiere on Tuesday, February 10 at 9:00PM (ET/PT). Subsequent episodes will air in the show?s regular timeslot at 9:30pm (ET/PT).

T.I. has teamed up with MTV for a new reality show entitled “T.I?s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go.” The show premieres next month and it’s Tip’s hope that the series will scare teens away from a life of crime. Since being convicted of felony gun charges last year, the 27 year old rapper has been following the terms of a plea deal where he’s completed almost 1000 hour of community service. He is scheduled to begin serving his jail sentence of one year and one day behind bars on March 27th.
In ?T.I.?s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go,? viewers will not only watch as T.I. attempts to help change the lives of desperate teenagers across the country but they will also get a behind-the-scenes peek at the most private and personal moments of one of today?s hottest most sought after artists on the verge of leaving his glittering career for time behind bars. Monica threw her fianc?, Rocko, a huge birthday party at Straits Restaurant in Atlanta. The spot, owned by Mo’s cousin Chistopher Ludacris Bridges was packed wall to wall with all of the couple’s celebrity friends.
Derek Blanks, Shawty Lo and his wife, D.Woods, Kandi Buress (xscape), Jerry Clark (island def jam), Sheree Whitfield, Paster Troy, Young Ralph, Yung Joc, Jazze Pha….hell, even Dekalb County CEO Vernon Jones popped in for a piece of cake! I went, thinking that the birthday bash was going to be Monica & Rocko’s wedding reception. I’m sure you noticed that I still referred to Rocko as Monica’s fiance…well, that’s because the two haven’t eloped and I was angry for nothing. Monica cleared up the ‘secret wedding’ rumor and stated that B. Cox referring to her as Rocko’s wife is not unusual. They don’t think of her as his ‘baby momma’ and it’s a respect thing. Plus, she added that Bryan has been privy to intimate details of their plans for the big day.
The two lovebirds sat like the king and queen of the ‘A’ at the head of a table full of their friends and family but one self proclaimed king must have been home alone a bit too long cause he made a surprise visit to escort his queen home. Continue Reading…
