It was definitely “A Night to Remember” last Tuesday evening in Atlanta, as model Tyson Beckford hosted a fundraiser and tribute to fashion pioneer Bethann Hardison and the late designer Willi Smith.
The event turned a venue in Atlanta?s Atlantic Station into a full fledged fashion show complete with catwalk.
Beckford, along with WSB TV?s Jovita Moore emcee?d the affair, which included a performance by singer Kenny Lattimore, a presentation to Hardison and Smith, and a stunning runway show.
The show featured 70’s inspired fashion in honor of Smith’s WilliWear line and ended with a finale by Atlanta “housewife”/model Cynthia Bailey.

Several celebs were spotted on the front row of the show, including newlyweds Toya & MempHitz, Trina & Towanda Braxton, celebrity photographer Derek Blanks, Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall, Roger Bobb, Kenny Burns (V103) and more.

My favorite real Atlanta “Housewife Attorney Phaedra Parks and her handsome hubby Apollo Nida were spotted taking in the Ronald Isley / El DeBarge Reunion concert last weekend at Atlanta’s Chastain Park.
Brothers El & Chico DeBarge were spotted looking happy and healthy.
As you know, El, who has battled a long history of drug addiction, abruptly canceled a much anticipated come-back tour earlier this year to return to rehab but now he’s back clean & sober.
Hopefully he’ll give fans more of what was promised in his “Second Chance” release.

Other celebs spotted taking in the old school reunion concert were Ludacris (with his boo Eudoxie), Jasmine Guy, Kandi Burruss, Carl Thomas, Andrea Kelly, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and more.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, Kandi Burruss has bravely embarked on a mission to make your sex life a bit less boring and last night, she increased those odds by hosting an Atlanta launch party for her new line of intimate “pleasure products” i.e. sex toys.
I know there’s a need out there for products to enhance peoples sex lives and when I think about it, every woman I know has at least one sex toy or some type of self pleasure product… a bullet… a rabbit.
So I was like ‘you know what, if most woman have them… and you see them in the store and they’re always marketed to men (with the big porn star on the box)’.
I wanted to put out a product that was a little more discrete and something that you can just have in your purse…
