D. Woods sang the National Anthem last night at the 2009 NBA Playoffs (Cavaliers ~vs~ Magics) in Cleveland, OH. I’ve always been a fan of her voice, but after hearing this rendition, I know without a doubt that big things are in the works for the former Danity Kane member! Do your thang Dee! 🙂
Shouts out to SCB Enterprises for the video!
After spending 19 months in federal prison for his conviction for financing a dogfighting operation, former Atlanta Falcon’s quarterback Mike Vick is adjusting comfortably to home confinement.? Since he still has a ton of haters, I’m sure they’re all fuming at the pics and video of him chillin at the crib released by RadarOnline. But whatEV!? I’m quite pleased to see him finally out and spending time with his family. It’s way overdue!
Vick will spend the next two months being monitored at his five-bedroom Virginia home and working a $10-an-hour job as a construction laborer. He?s scheduled to be released from federal custody on July 20, and then faces three years of supervised probation. The photos (above) portray him visiting with children from the Vick Foundation, a nonprofit formed for at-risk youth, while the video shows Vick speaking about his days in prison as he? interacts with his two daughters. Vick?s fiancee, Kijafa Frink, can also be heard behind the camera:
House arrest isn?t exactly torture for former NFL star Michael Vick. Sure, he’s sporting an electronic-monitoring device on his ankle, but he’s serving out his 60-day sentence in style at his posh 5-bedroom brick home on his sprawling estate in Hampton, Virginia and gets to see his fianc?e and their two daughters. Four cars pulled up to Vick?s five-bedroom brick home at the end of a cul-de-sac at about 8:25 a.m Thursday. The caravan was led by a black Kia Sedona with curtains shielding the back seat from view and sunshields on the front side windows. Vick was in the Sedona along with his fiancee, Kijafa Frink, said Chris Garrett, a member of Vick?s support and legal team.
He was also greeted by his 19 month old daughter (London) who was born just weeks prior to the start of his sentence.
Mike was fitted with an electronic monitoring device, which he’ll wear for the two months he spends under home confinement. He and law officials walked outside on his back deck briefly to make sure the device was working properly. Mike will spend the next two months being monitored at home but has been permitted to work outside the home as a construction laborer wtih WM Jordon Construction in Virginia. He will be a $10 hourly employee for at least the next two months. The job is part of his probation, but of course his ultimate goal is to return to the NFL. Hopefully he’ll be given the opportunity, since he has paid for his crime.? (Source 1 and 2)

Philip’s arena was jumping Saturday night as the Hawks met the Caveliers yet again. Keyshia Cole sang the national anthem while her bff Monica chilled on the sidelines. T.I., Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, Polow Da Don and Keyshia’s ex and my next boo JEEEEEEEZY also took part in the festivities. Unfortunately, the Cavs pounded that “A”zzz but at least A-town supported to the fullest!

As is the norm, several A-town celebs hit up Philip’s Arena Wednesday night for game 5 of the Hawks v. Miami playoff series. T.I., Polow Da Don, Jeezy and more were spotted chillin in the “good seats” as the Hawks walked away with a 106-91 win. Check out a few courtside photos from the game:

Heyyyyy Mr. Jenkins!! *drooling*
Polow flashed his brand new $20,000 diamond ring as he posed with Teyana Taylor.
DJ Bishop from Zone 4’s Hittmen DJ’s sent over a video from their suite at the game. In it, Polow’s flossin his new jewelry and countin the stones. Hmmph. I was NOT phased by Mr. Jones’ blatent display of his wealth, I am, however, amazed by the lack of female presence in that suite! Wassup with that? Y’all didn’t even callllll meeeee!!! 😕
