Introducing the Coles, a close-knit obese family from North Carolina, struggling through weight issues as they come together to change their lifestyle & eating habits for their health. The show premiered last night (Tues, Dec 29) but I was too busy watching Rudolph’s Happy New Year to think about it. The family appeared on The Today Show recently to discuss the show:
Each member of this North Carolina family is considered morbidly obese. The mom of the family, Tameka is 36 years old and weighs 380 pounds. She works two jobs to support the family.? Her husband Norris is 41 and weighs 340 pounds. Tameka and Norris have two kids. Son Shayne, is 14 and is a hefty 308 pounds.? The daughter, 16-year-old Amber no longer fits the guidelines for morbid obesity and is in fact now considered ?super obese? at 348 pounds.
Former American Idol Fantasia Barrino is next up on the reality show train. Fannie, who’s been catching mad flack after it was revealed she’d been dating a married man, will be bringing all her drama to primetime on VH1. The show entitled, “Fantasia For Real’, will air on VH1 Jan. 11 2010. The docu-series will be comprised of 8 episodes and I’m sure it’ll be full of entertaining scenarios.
I spotted Fantasia’s trailer the other day while I was watching Celebrity Sex Rehab (don’t judge me!). In the commercial, she sings her excitement about the upcoming show. Check out the trailer for “Fantasia For Real” + the press release below: Continue Reading…
The mothers of a three musical superstars have banned together to create their own show. “Dinner Table Discussions? will feature three women who gave birth to hip-hop/r&b icons, as they create a real “down to earth” atmosphere (ala ‘The View”) where they ‘ll discuss current events, important topics and interview guests.? Jacida Carter (Lil Wayne’s Mom), Aliyah ?Mama Pain? Najm (T-Pain?s mother) and H. Loraine Smith (Ne-Yo?s mother) have already started production on the program and have even begun to make a few appearances together around Atlanta: Continue Reading…
Guess what? There’s gonna be even more of Keyshia Cole’s family members hitting the airwaves soon. Neffe’s BFF/Stylist Dariel and her half-sister Elite are said to be working on a new reality series. According to FreddyO:
Keyshia Cole?s sister Elite, and Neffe?s hair stylist Dariel are in the process of shooting their own reality show. Yes you heard me correctly. According to Dariel the show is to portray their grind and hustle to make it in this cut throat industry. It will also show that Keyshia does NOT take care of them.
Dariel also says that the show will be speaking on issues of how money was stolen from his former management. But the main focus of the show is to show the world his struggle as a hair stylist that is trying to build his brand and clientel. It will also show how Elite is in the studio making her own album, and her search for her dad.? According to Dariel this is going to be REAL and RAW, and nothing will be held back.
I hate to say I told you so…but I did. Way back in May.? ~~> Reality Show Alert ~ Boy You So Pretty! I just wonder what the title of this show will be. I hope they come up with something more creative than Tiny & Toya or Frankie & Neffe.? I vote for “Boy You So Pretty” cause Dariel gives that heat…but then that wouldn’t give Elite any shine. Dariel & Elite is just too simple for all this glorious-ness!? Peep game:
Oh My! Neffe’s BFF/Stylist Dariel is giving B.Scott a run for his pretty boy money in his string of recent videos. He hasn’t even hit the airwaves yet on the new “Frankie & Neffe” show and already he’s a got-dayum SUPERSTAR!! In the new vids, Dariel gives us the run down about the status of the new show, chatter about He, Frankie, Neffe & Tyler Perry (as Madea) hosting the 2009 BET Awards, as well as drops a hint that he may be up next on the Reality Show special bus. *sigh*? We keep watching that nonesense so I guess they’ll keep churning em out! When will it end!!!
Danger from For the Love of Ray J may have homicidal thoughts of killing people and may have even smashed a homie, but it looks like she’s being rewarded for her psychotic attitude with her own reality show. I knew it was coming but…Wooooow!
Moving On. I have no idea who won Ray J’s heart, but apparently it wasn’t Danger. She reveals a bit about the show, her thoughts on Unique and Chardonny and the upcoming taping of the reunion show below: Continue Reading…
