Q Da Kid is doing his part to aid relief efforts in Haiti.? I just received a video of his new song “Save Me,” which was written to create awareness about Haiti recovery efforts.

Q Da Kid recently completed the video for a song called “A Letter to Shakir” and dedicates it to all who have passed and to those who mourn them. I’ve been wondering what’s been up with him, but JD explains via his blog:

TAG Records’ “Survival of the Freshest” tour hit the “A” Sunday evening at Center Stage. ?The venue was packed with hopefuls and the free event served as TAG’s grand finale event for the nationwide tour. ?There was a live emcee battle where the crowd was the deciding factor. ?I spotted DJ Cannon, Q da Kid, and Princess from Crime Mob. ?Keyshawn aka Markice Moore from G’s to Gents/ATL served as a quasi-host for the show as he announced each contestant and reviewed the applause meter.
