Jay-Z is hot on the campaign trail for Barack Obama. Saturday (Nov. 1st), Jay paid a visit to?Virginia Union College in Richmond, Virgina where he gave an emotional speech about the importance of this year’s election. Tomorrow will mark a turning point in history. ?Hopefully, Obama will come out of this race on top, but it’s going to take all of our VOTES to get him there. ?You can’t sit this one out. VOTE!
Keri Hilson stylishly braved cold weather and long lines recently to cast her vote for Barack Obama. ?Keri was joined by her mother and sister at a polling location in Dekalb County, Georgia. ?The three beautiful women joked amongst each other as they attempted to stay warm, with Keri stating, “There will be drama for yo mama if you don’t vote for Obama!!”??LMAO! ?Cute. ?BTW…you were working that hat girl!

T.I. took advantage of advanced voting yesterday (10/29) in Henry County, Georgia. ?The rapper originally thought his voting privileges were revoked as a convicted felon, until he researched and learned that under a Georgia law felons are eligible if they’re not currently serving probation or a prison sentence.
“It’s a relief,” said the best-selling rapper, who stood in line for no more than 10 minutes on Wednesday before entering a polling center in suburban Atlanta to vote for the first time in his life.
“This what it is all about, not staying up late and waking up early to vote,” he added. “Now rather than just talking about it, I’m being about it. I’m leading by example, and it makes me feel a lot better.” (Source)
Way to go Tip!! ?Peep the video of T.I.’s first voting experience under the cut:

I agree…just make sure you wear comfortable shoes.
Check out this clip from D.L. Hughley’s new show on CNN where he bravely attended a recent Sara Palin rally. ?D.L. interviewed several Palin supporters, some of whom didn’t even know how to spell her last name. He also appeared to be one of only a few Black people in attendance. ?This is the funniest thing I’ve seen this week! ?I’m definitely going to have to set some time aside for his show.
Some 7th graders from Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta and their teacher prepared a political rendition of T.I.’s “Whatever You Like”. ? They group stayed neutral in their performance by separating into two sides and each taking a stand for either McCain or Obama. ?These kids have made it all the way to CNN! Way to go!
